摘要: In a starter protective device, a sensor detects the operating conditions of the engine, a decision unit having a detecting section for detecting starting conditions and a controlling section for changing, according to the starting conditions provided by the detecting section, reference values for determining whether or not the engine has been started provides a start completion decision output when it is determined from the reference values that the engine is in operation, and in response to the start completion decision output the starter is deenergized, whereby the starter is lengthened in service life.

摘要: A starter apparatus comprises a mounting arrangement for an engine 16, an overhang type front housing 21, and a metal flange member 22 for mounting a starter main body. A sealing ring 23 and accommodating groove 22c are provided in the cast iron flange member, to avoid any weakening groove in the aluminum front housing. An excess number of screw holes 21a, 22b and 16a are provided in the front housing, the flange member and the engine to enable the mounting angle of the starter apparatus to be adapted to different engine requirements.

摘要: An armature comprising a number of core sheets each having a number of slots and wherein a plurality of punched-in recesses for fitting are formed on the tail side of each core sheet and a plurality of punched-out protrusions for fitting provided by punching in said plurality of recesses are formed on the top side thereof, both by press-working; the core sheets being laminated by pressing the number of core sheets whereby said plurality of protrusions for fitting on the top side of each core sheet press-fit to said plurality of recesses for fitting on the tail side of a contiguous core sheet thereby positioning and integrally laminating the number of core sheets; wherein a plurality of protrusions for clearance each having a very small height are formed on the top side of each core sheet thereby providing a very small clearance between two of the contiguous core sheets.

摘要: An electromagnetic switch comprising: an excitation coil wound around a bobbin made of a synthetic resin material; a yoke accommodating said excitation coil; a fixed core fixed inside of a first end side of said yoke; a magnetic path plate contacting an outer end of a flange at a second end side opposite to said first end side of said bobbin and fixed inside of said second end side of the yoke; a bush made of a nonmagnetic material and fixed in an inner periphery of the bobbin; a movable core movably supported in said bush in the axial direction thereof; and terminal means closed by urging to press said terminal means by a magnetic suction of said movable core to said fixed core; wherein a plurality of arms are extended in the axial direction from an inner peripheral portion of the bobbin at the second end side thereof; a receiving portion is formed at end portions of said respective arms integrally therewith; cut-off portions are provided for passing the respective arms therethrough at an inner peripheral portion of said magnetic path plate; and the retracted movable core is received by an inner end face of said receiving portion.

摘要: A power supply device for an engine starter of an automobile is disclosed. The device comprises a control circuit which controls the supply of DC current from a battery to the starter by making and breaking the electromagnetic switch of the starter. A series circuit of a starting switch and a DC-DC converter is coupled across a positive terminal of the battery and the input of a constant voltage source circuit. The output voltage of the DC-DC converter is 1.5 times as great as the input. Further, a diode is coupled in parallel with the series circuit of the starting switch and the DC-DC converter to supply the battery voltage when the starting switch is opened. The control circuit of the starter having input terminals coupled to the starting switch and an engine rotation sensor is supplied with the constant operating voltage from the constant voltage source circuit. The output of the control circuit operates a relay which in its turn operates the electromagnetic switch of the starter.
