    Abstract: A method for managing registration in a wireless communication system and a device for the same are disclosed. More specifically, the method for managing registration performed by a User Equipment (UE), that cannot be paged by a network and does not perform a periodic registration area update, in the wireless communication system, may include receiving a timer value for managing a Deregistered state of the UE from the network during a registration procedure, starting a timer if the UE enters an Idle state, and allowing the UE to enter the Deregistered state if the timer expires.

    Abstract: Provided are a method for user interface (UI)/user experience (UX) display for supporting service continuity when a disaster situation ends, and a device supporting same. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a disaster roaming PLMN, a configuration update command message including first information indicating that a disaster condition of a home PLMN (HPLMN) has ended, and displays second information relating to whether to maintain a service that is being received from the disaster roaming PLMN, on the basis of the first information and the fact that the disaster condition of the HPLMN has ended. The UE also waits until the service that is being received from the disaster roaming PLMN ends, and performs, after the service that is being received from the disaster roaming PLMN ends, a procedure of deregistration from the disaster roaming PLMN on the basis of the first information.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques for handling a protocol data unit (PDU) session by a wireless device implementing an access stratum (AS) layer and a non-access stratum (NAS) layer in a wireless communication system. An example technique includes determining, by the AS layer of the wireless device, whether a user plane for the PDU session is activated or released; transferring, by the AS layer and to the NAS layer of the wireless device based on a determination that the user plane for the PDU session is activated, first information indicating that the user plane for the PDU session is activated; and transferring, by the AS layer and to the NAS layer of the wireless device based on a determination that the user plane for the PDU session is released, second information indicating that the user plane for the PDU session is released.
