Abstract: A linear compressor is provided. The linear compressor may include a shell having a cylindrical shape, a shell cover that covers both open ends of the shell, a cylinder accommodated into the shell and defining a compression space for a refrigerant, a piston that reciprocates within the cylinder in an axial direction to compress the refrigerant within the compression space, a motor assembly including a motor that provides power to the piston and a stator cover that supports the motor, and resonant springs seated on the stator cover that support the piston to allow the piston to perform a resonant motion. The resonant springs may be circularly arranged at three points having a same interval around a center in an axial direction.

Abstract: A linear compressor includes a shell having a first opening and a second opening defined at opposite ends of the shell, a compressor body including a cylinder and a piston accommodated in the shell, a support part that protrudes from an end portion of the compressor body toward the second opening, a supporting damper that extends from the support part toward an inner surface of the shell. The supporting damper includes a first portion that is coupled to the support part and that defines a single contact region between the support part and the supporting damper, and at least two second portions that extend from the first portion to the inner surface of the shell and that define at least two contact regions that are spaced apart from each other along the inner surface of the shell.

Abstract: A linear compressor includes a shell, a frame in the shell, a cylinder defining a compression space, a piston in the cylinder, a motor assembly configured to drive the piston, a discharge cover unit defining a discharge space, a discharge valve configured to selectively open and close the compression space, and a valve spring assembly configured to provide elastic force that causes the discharge valve to contact the cylinder. The discharge cover unit includes a cover housing that defines an opening configured to communicate with the discharge space, a discharge cover that inserts into the cover housing through the opening, that contacts an inner surface of the cover housing, and that covers the opening, and a fixing ring configured to be positioned at an inner surface of the discharge cover. A thermal expansion coefficient of the fixing ring is greater than that of the discharge cover.

Abstract: In a method for processing a video signal, according to the present invention, a first video decoder can extract motion information for inter prediction on a current half frame from a bitstream, a second video decoder can perform the inter prediction on the current half frame by using the extracted motion information, and the first video decoder can restore the inter-predicted current half frame. Accordingly, the coding time of a video sequence can be reduced.
