Directly following application of a label (3) to the adhesive coating (5) of a backing web (2) by rolling the affixation point (8) non-contact sensing by the sensor (31) of a detector device (30) establishes whether the adhesive coating (5) is not fully covered due to mutual misorientation. In the case of such a misorientation the backing web (2) including substantially all other means of a paper processing line are halted, as a result of which the exposed adhesive coating (5) is unable to soil any further parts of the machine.
Abstract:
Folding stations are provided successively in a single running direction of an apparatus for the single or z-like folding of lateral tongues of a sheet layer. The first station has an offset rising folding curve for tongue straightening, the second station has a rotating roll for z-shaped prefolding of a tongue, and the third station has juxtaposed folding curves for the finish folding of differently long tongues and the first pressing rolls for the smoothing of the fold breaks. Therefore, very different and complicated folds can be carefully made in a single pass through the apparatus.
Abstract:
A leak detection method using a specimen filled with a test gas positioned in front of a suction opening. Air is suctioned along the entire surface of the specimen and takes up test gas in the case of a leak. The test gas is recognized by a test gas detector. According to the invention, full mobility of the specimen is ensured during the testing process so that the leak detection method can be carried out while the specimens are moving past the suction opening.

A hinge for a door, flap or similar pivotal wings of a motor vehicle is provided. The hinge includes a column-side hinge part and a door-side hinge part, which can be pivoted about a hinge pillar relative to each other, and with an integrated door retaining device, which includes a retaining element arranged on the side of the one hinge part, which cooperates with a retaining contour on the side of the other hinge part. The retaining element is formed as clamp element cooperating with a clamping surface of the hinge pillar, the clamping force of which can be adjusted by means of a transmission element as a function of the retaining contour.

The invention relates to a chip module for an RFID system comprising a web-type or sheet-type support material (4) on the upper face of which a coupling antenna (2) and an RFID chip (3), which is electrically, especially galvanically, connected to the coupling antenna (2), are arranged and the lower face of which is provided with an adhesive layer (9). The coupling antenna (2) consists of an aluminum layer (7) having a thickness of 1 μm-20 μm, especially of 3 μm-12 μm.

The tool (8) distinguishes the edge tabs (4, 5) by their width and steers the wider edge tabs (4) downwards out of the way prior to attaining the processing conveyance path (19).

In a transverse grooving tool the groove webs are continuously adjustable with respect to the body in the running direction and can be fixed in any set position and for this purpose sliding guides and clamping means are provided. Adjacent to at least one adjustable working member can also be provided a non-adjustable working member, e.g. a further grooving tool and/or a balancing weight. As the working members are also interchangeable, there are numerous possibilities for reequipping the tool.

An apparatus for applying dispensing parts to a support web has a transfer device running synchronously with the web for applying the dispensing parts, a positioning device for the correct position separation and transfer of the dispensing parts to the transfer device and a feed device for supplying a dispensing web to the positioning device. The three devices are independently controllable with respect to their working speeds, so that by speed superimposing any random number of dispensing parts of random size and in random positions can be transferred to the support web.
