摘要: Provided are approaches for removing a chip of a transaction card using a chip removal element. In some approaches, the transaction card may include a body including a first main side opposite a second main side, a chip coupled to the first main side of the body, and a chip removal element disposed between the chip and the body. A first end of the chip removal element may be positioned within a tab recess along the first main side of the body, wherein the chip removal element is operable to decouple the chip from the body when the chip removal element is moved away from the body.

摘要: A mounted token system is configured to be worn by a wearer as a part of the grieving process. The mounted token system may include a token with an tracking indicator, a token mount, and a server. The token mount includes an anterior segment which includes an anterior opening, and a posterior segment moveable relative to the anterior segment. The token mount is configured to secure the token therein. At least a portion of the token is visible from an anterior side through the anterior opening. The server performs the following steps: present, to a first user via a graphical user interface, an invitation to provide information indicative of the tracking indicator of the token; receive, from the first user, information indicative of the tracking indicator; and store information indicative of the tracking indicator. The token may then be passed to a subsequent wearer, utilizing a new token mount.

摘要: A card body for a chip card, includes a module opening for receiving a chip module having a coil, a metal layer having a slot which extends from an outer edge of the metal layer to the module opening, and a plastic layer which is applied to one side of the metal layer. The module opening has a blind hole cut out of the plastic layer and the metal layer and an outer area which surrounds the blind hole which is cut out of only part of the height of the plastic layer. A further slot is provided in the outer region in the metal layer.

摘要: A system and method for personalized messages via a physical medium are provided. The method includes steps: (a) providing a physical medium having a unique code; (b) scanning, via a camera on a first smartphone, the unique code; (c) accessing, via a display on the first smartphone, a webpage prompted by the scanning of the unique code; (d) enabling a first user to add personalized content to the webpage via the first smartphone display; (e) scanning, via a camera on a second smartphone, the unique code; and, (f) accessing, via a display on the second smartphone, the webpage prompted by the scanning of the unique code such that the personalized content can be viewed by a second user. The system is enabled such that the webpage is only accessible from the uniform resource locator via scanning the unique code with the camera on the smartphone. The webpage may be part of a social media platform.

摘要: A management system includes a recording device recording an image of a gaming chip and an inspection device determining a type and authenticity of the gaming chip. The gaming chip has a multilayer structure in which both sides of a colored layer are sandwiched between light color layers, surface printing representing a type of the gaming chip is performed on outer sides of the light color layers, and an authenticity recognition mark is printed on the colored layer of an inside of the light color layers by an infrared absorbing material. A visible light camera photographs a visible light image of the surface printing, and an infrared light camera photographs an infrared image of the internal printing. The inspection device determines the type and authenticity of the gaming chip using the visible light image and the infrared image.

摘要: A foam article, such as a cushioning element for an article of footwear, apparel or sporting equipment is provided that comprises a foam component, such as a midsole, having a number of beneficial physical characteristics. The cushioning element is a low-density foamed component with a surface skin that encases the remaining foam volume. The cushioning element has a number of foam volumes, arranged to achieve a more consistent foam component. Additionally, the cushioning element includes a series of concentric ridges extending radially outwardly from injection gate vestige locations, and a number of striation bands near the perimeter of the cushioning element. The location of the gate vestiges can be beneficially arranged to produce intersecting flow boundaries that are located away from key strain areas of the cushioning element. The cushioning element is more environmentally-friendly, requiring less energy to produce while still providing acceptable energy return and low density.

Such transponders may assist in preventing interference of transponders with medical imaging technologies. Such transponders may optionally be of a small size, and may assist in collecting and transmitting data and information regarding implanted medical devices. Methods of using such transponders, readers for detecting such transponders, and methods for using such readers are also described.

摘要: The disclosed method may include configuring one or more brakes based on a braking-related attribute expected at a geographic location being traversed by a personal mobility vehicle. By configuring the application of brakes of a personal mobility vehicle based on terrain, environmental conditions, and other geographic features, the system may reduce the risk of the vehicle skidding or tipping due to over-braking. In some embodiments, a rider may use a single brake lever to indicate a desire to brake and the system may make determinations about how to apply a combination of mechanical and electrical brakes to front and back wheels based at least in part on the location of the personal mobility vehicle. By configuring brake engagement based on a combination of controls and map data, the system may improve user experience and user safety, especially for inexperienced riders.

摘要: An inspection system comprises: a placing surface having a plurality of areas for placing a plurality of gaming chips to be inspected one by one; an RFID reading system that reads the RFID tags of the gaming chips placed in each of the plurality of areas on the surface to obtain the type information and identification information for each of the areas; a chip recognition system that recognizes the presence or absence of at least one of the gaming chips placed in each of the plurality of areas of the placing surface; a control device that determines a status of the gaming chip in each of the areas of the placing surface based on the type and identification information obtained by the RFID reading system and the recognition results of the chip recognition system; and a display device that reflects the status determined by the control device for each area.
