There is provided a combination-confirming mechanism by which it can be confirmed by the closing of the terminal receiving grooves by the cover of the sub-housing, combined with the base housing, that the sub-housing is properly inserted in and combined with the base housing.     摘要: A short-circuit terminal fitting 30 is provided with a protection wall 35 to prevent deformation of elastic contact portions due to interference by other members and to prevent excessive deformation of the elastic contact portions due to an excessive pressing displacement of a lock arm. The protection wall 35 is so formed as to surround the leading free ends of elastic contact portions 32 which are fixed at one end thereof and hanging at the other end thereof. When the short-circuiting terminal fitting 30 is handled alone, the elastic contact portions 32 are unlikely to be interfered with by other members since they are surrounded by the protection wall 35 and, accordingly, the deformation of the elastic contact portions 32 due to interference by other members can be prevented. Further, the protection wall 35 prevents deformation of the elastic contact portions 32 that otherwise could be caused by a lock arm 21 engaging the elastic contact portion 32 when the fitting 30 is mounted in a female connector housing 20.

    摘要: A junction box comprises small size standard boxes. The small size standard box includes a main casing that contains many longitudinal bus bars disposed in parallel with one another at a given interval in distance therein, and male and female coupling portions provided on the outer opposite side surfaces of the main casing. Plural small size standard boxes are juxtaposed together in accordance with different kinds of automobile vehicles by interconnecting the male and female coupling portions successively. A lower casing member is attached to the main casing. The size of the lower casing member depends on the number of the standard boxes to be coupled for a special purpose. The lower casing member is provided with an attachment portion for a vehicle body projecting from the member.
