摘要： A lens holder portion 3 for holding an objective lens 5 is supported on an end side of each of four suspension wires 2 so that it is capable of moving in a focusing direction and in a tracking direction. Minute uneven faces 2a are formed in the surface of each suspension wire 2. Adhesive agent 11 which fixes each suspension wire 2 on the lens holder 3 and fixing member 4 invades into dented portions in this uneven face 2a and hardens, thereby producing an anchor effect to improve bonding strength. Consequently, in an objective lens drive unit 1 in which the lens holder 3 is supported by a plurality of suspension wires 2, bonding strength to the suspension wire 2 can be improved.

摘要： A sewing machine includes a thread take-up lever and a thread tension regulator each disposed along a predetermined needle thread passage from a thread bobbin to a needle, an arm having a front face, and a movable controller disposed in the front of the arm so as to be movable at least within a predetermined range. The movable controller does not protrude out of the front face of the arm when moved in the predetermined range. The needle thread is engaged with at least one of the thread take-up lever and the thread tension regulator when the movable controller is moved within the predetermined range while the needle thread has been drawn from the thread bobbin near to the needle substantially along the predetermined needle thread passage.

摘要： A method of recycling an image-bearing recording material, at least part of a surface portion having a paper layer which contains cellulose fibers and bears thereon images formed by a thermofusible or thermosoftening ink, includes the steps of causing the image-bearing surface portion of the recording material to hold a water-containing image removal acceleration liquid thereon, and causing the images to adhere to an image releasing member with the application of heat and/or pressure to the images, whereby peeling the images away from the surface portion, with the surface portion of the recording material having a contact angle (cos.theta.) of -0.6 to 0.8 when a liquid with a surface tension of 40 mN/m is placed dropwise on the surface portion of the recording material.

摘要： A flat bed knitting machine with at least one carriage mounted to a needle bed. A yarn changing device is capable of picking yarn guide collars from collar support racks located at both ends of the needle bed. Each collar rack is designed to hold a plurality of yarn guide collars. The yarn changing device includes a collar support mechanism carried by the carriage for detachably holding a selected one of the collars. The collar support mechanism has three working positions including an operational position and two transfer positions. Each transfer position allows the transfer of the selected collar between the collar support mechanism and one of the support racks. A mechanism is also provided to change the position of the collar support in response to movements of the carriage relative to the needle bed. In a preferred embodiment, the position changing mechanism changes the position of the collar support mechanism in response to movements of the carriage relative to the needle bed.
