摘要: A high-frequency power amplifier capable of considerably improving the power amplification efficiency (&eegr;). This high-frequency power amplifier 10 comprises an amplifying element 11, an input-side matching circuit 12, and an output-side matching circuit 13, and further has a current absorbing unit 20. This current absorbing unit 20 absorbs the current of a higher-harmonic frequency current contained in a signal of a fundamental wave at which the amplifying element 11 operates. Preferably, this current absorbing unit 20 is comprised of an LC-series resonance circuit 21 having a higher-harmonic frequency as a resonance frequency, and thereby bypasses the above current to the earth.

摘要: If a code is transmitted at a first transmission rate, a base station modulates the entirety of the code, namely a preamble, a synchronizing signal and a call-data, by two values and transmits them at the first transmission rate. If the code is transmitted at a second transmission rate, which is double the first transmission rate, the base station modulates the preamble and the logically inverted synchronizing signal (obtained by inverting the "1", "0" logic of the original synchronizing signal) by the two values, transmits them at the first transmission rate, modulates the call-data by four values and transmits it at the second transmission rate. As a result, it suffices to provide the pager with a single common preamble detector and a single common synchronizing detector, irrespective of the transmission rate. Moreover, by detecting the synchronizing signal or its inverted version, it is possible to determine whether the call-data has been modulated by two values or four values, thereby assuring that the call-data following the synchronizing signal can be modulated correctly.

摘要: In a program executing apparatus, a code reading section reads intermediate codes into a storage unit. A data-reference analyzing section determines whether the operands of instructions in the intermediate codes stored in the storage unit require a data reference. Each data reference is analyzed for instructions requiring the data reference. A code rewriting section rewrites the operands of the instructions according to the analysis information obtained by the data-reference analyzing section. An address updating section updates the addresses of address-related instructions. After all intermediate codes are interpreted, a main interpreting and executing section starts interpreting and executing the intermediate codes.

摘要: The cutoff frequency is set high in order to prevent suppression of low-frequency components so that high-quality reception control of a radio signal can be realized. A radio signal amplifier unit amplifies a received radio signal and results in an amplified signal. A frequency conversion unit mixes the amplified signal with a local oscillation signal to thereby convert the radio signal having a radio frequency signal into the radio signal having an intermediate frequency signal, resulting in an intermediate frequency signal. A frequency shift control unit shifts the intermediate frequency signal towards the upper part of the frequency band. A frequency inversion unit inverts a low-frequency side of the intermediate frequency signal towards the upper part of the frequency band and inverts a high-frequency side thereof towards a lower part thereof. An AC coupling unit is provided at an output side of the frequency control unit. A radio signal demodulating unit demodulates an output signal obtained via the AC coupling means.

摘要: A miniature antenna is mounted on a casing of a radio communication equipment such as a portable transmitter/receiver, a pocket telephone, or a mobile telephone of low power type. The miniature antenna is includes a semi-coaxial dielectric resonator and a radiator. The semi-coaxial dielectric resonator has a metal case, a center conductor surrounded by the metal case, and a dielectric material filled between the metal case and the center conductor. The radiator is formed by extending the center conductor approximately the same length as the center conductor and projected from the metal case without contacting the case. A skirt member can be added outside of the semi-coaxial dielectric resonator. According to the above-described structure, the directivity becomes maximum in a horizontal plane and an effect caused by holding the casing with a human hand is decreased.

摘要: An oblique movement preventing device for an endless belt, the inner surface of the belt supported by rollers, and at least one roller circulating the belt on the rollers, includes a contact angle changing unit. The changing unit selectively presses either side part of the outer surface of the belt at a position near to the one roller on an upstream side of the one roller in the predetermined belt circulating direction, thereby changing a contact angle of the belt on the one roller along the width direction of the belt. A measuring unit measures a direction and distance of displacement of the belt caused by the oblique movement thereof, and a control unit controls the operation of the changing unit to cease the oblique movement of the belt, based on the measured direction and distance of displacement of the belt.

摘要: A transmitter of a base station stops a spread modulation so as to transmit a free-line signal and a call-in signal to a mobile station in a wait state. A receiver of a mobile station which is in the wait state stops a despread modulation so as to receive the free-line signal and the call-in signal which are from the base station. The transmitter modulates, spreads, and then transmits and the receiver receives and then despreads and demodulates a control signal for connecting a line after transmitting and receiving the call-in signal are completed, a control signal for connecting the line when a call-out request is sent from the mobile station, and a talk signal and a talk completion control signal which are transmitted and received through the line.
