摘要: A video game system (or other data processing system) can visually identify a person entering a field of view of the system and determine whether the person has been previously interacting with the system. In one embodiment, the system establishes thresholds, enrolls players, performs the video game (or other application) including interacting with a subset of the players based on the enrolling, determines that a person has become detectable in the field of view of the system, automatically determines whether the person is one of the enrolled players, maps the person to an enrolled player and interacts with the person based on the mapping if it is determined that the person is one of the enrolled players, and assigns a new identification to the person and interacts with the person based on the new identification if it is determined that the person is not one of the enrolled players.

摘要: Embodiments are disclosed that relate to the use of identity information to help avoid the occurrence of false positive speech recognition events in a speech recognition system. One embodiment provides a method comprising receiving speech recognition data comprising a recognized speech segment, acoustic locational data related to a location of origin of the recognized speech segment as determined via signals from the microphone array, and confidence data comprising a recognition confidence value, and also receiving image data comprising visual locational information related to a location of each person in an image. The acoustic locational data is compared to the visual locational data to determine whether the recognized speech segment originated from a person in the field of view of the image sensor, and the confidence data is adjusted depending on this determination.

摘要: Embodiments are disclosed that relate to the correction of an estimated pose determined from depth image data. One disclosed embodiment provides, on a computing system, a method of obtaining a representation of a pose of articulated object from image data capturing the articulated object. The method comprises receiving the depth image data, obtaining an initial estimated skeleton of the articulated object from the depth image data, applying a random forest subspace regression function to the initial estimated skeleton, and determining the representation of the pose based upon a result of applying the random forest subspace regression to the initial estimated skeleton.

摘要: An image such as a depth image of a scene may be received, observed, or captured by a device. A grid of voxels may then be generated based on the depth image such that the depth image may be downsampled. A model may be adjusted based on a location or position of one or more extremities estimated or determined for a human target in the grid of voxels. The model may also be adjusted based on a default location or position of the model in a default pose such as a T-pose, a DaVinci pose, and/or a natural pose.

摘要: An image such as a depth image of a scene may be received, observed, or captured by a device. A grid of voxels may then be generated based on the depth image such that the depth image may be downsampled. A background included in the grid of voxels may also be removed to isolate one or more voxels associated with a foreground object such as a human target. A location or position of one or more extremities of the isolated human target may be determined and a model may be adjusted based on the location or position of the one or more extremities.

摘要: A system and method are disclosed for calibrating a depth camera in a natural user interface. The system in general obtains an objective measurement of true distance between a capture device and one or more objects in a scene. The system then compares the true depth measurement to the depth measurement provided by the depth camera at one or more points and determines an error function describing an error in the depth camera measurement. The depth camera may then be recalibrated to correct for the error. The objective measurement of distance to one or more objects in a scene may be accomplished by a variety of systems and methods.

摘要: A method of tracking a target includes receiving from a source a depth image of a scene including the human subject. The depth image includes a depth for each of a plurality of pixels. The method further includes identifying pixels of the depth image that belong to the human subject and deriving from the identified pixels of the depth image one or more machine readable data structures representing the human subject as a body model including a plurality of shapes.
