    摘要: There is provided a method for the determination of a glucose concentration in a whole blood utilizing a biosensor. A correction of the measured glucose concentration for dilution error introduced by the solid component of blood cells is calculated based on the change in glucose concentration measured before and after significant glucose has diffused from blood cells into the buffer used to dilute the sample. Thus, the need to centrifuge blood samples to obtain a cell-free serum sample for glucose determination is eliminated.

    摘要: A sensor cartridge (1) for use on a sensor feeder includes a cartridge body (10) and a mold (12). The cartridge body (10) has an upper surface (10a), a front (10c) extending continously from the upper surface, and a plurality of sensor-holding slots (11). Each of the sensor-holding slots (11) includes a first opening formed in the upper surface (10a) and a second opening formed in the front (10c) and communicating with the first opening. The mold (12) closes the first opening and second openings in case sensors are charged in the sensor-holding slots (11).

A statistical technique is used with these parameters to compensate for errors so that the concentration of an object can be determined. P1: the ratio (If/Ib) of the maximum current (If) or a current occurring the maximum in the first excitation to a current (Ib) read at any point in the second excitation. P2: a current (Ib) read at any point in the second excitation.
