摘要： A method for processing a silver halide photographic material which comprises processing an imagewise exposed silver halide photographic material with a processing solution having a fixing ability containing (1) a thiosulfate As disclosed, wherein said processing solution having a fixing ability further contains at least one of (2) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a bisulfite and a sulfite, and a compound represented by formula (A'): ##STR1## wherein R'.sub.1, R'.sub.2, R'.sub.3, R'.sub.4 and R'.sub.5 each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent other than a hydroxyl group or a group containing a hydroxyl group, provided that at least one of R'.sub.1 to R'.sub.5 is at least one of a sulfo group and a group constaining a sulfo group and (3) at least one bisulfite addition product of a compound represented by formula (A'). In the method, a fixing solution having a pH of from 5.0 to 9.0 or a bleach-fixing solution with improved stability over time during continuous processing and exhibiting excellent desilvering performance is used. The method provides an image showing a reduced increase in stain with time and realizes improvements of the working environment.

摘要： A silver halide photographic material comprises a silver halide emulsion layer provided on a support. In the photographic material of the present invention, the silver halide emulsion is sensitized with a new tellurium sensitizer. 摘要： Disclosed herein is a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising at least one layer made of a silver halide emulsion comprising a dispersion medium and silver halide grains dispersed in the dispersion medium. Each of the silver halide grains contains a metal or metal ions other than silver. The emulsion has been chemically sensitized in the presence of a tellurium compound which has a pseudo-first order reaction rate constant k of 1.times.10.sup.-8 to 1.times.10.sup.-0 min.sup.-1. The metal is at least one polyvalent metal selected from the group consisting of Ir, Rh, Pd, Ru, Pt, Os, Fe, Ni and Co. The metal ions are ammonium salt, acetate, nitrate, sulfate, phosphate, hydroxide, or complex salt of the metal. Telluroketones or phosphinetellurides is used as the tellurium compound. It is desirable that the silver halide emulsion is a monodispersed emulsion having a variation coefficient of 22% or less. The silver halide photographic light-sensitive material has its photographic properties, particularly the gradation and the reciprocity, improved, with no reduction of its sensitivity.
