    Abstract: An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate including a plurality of laminated dielectric layers, a radiating element, a ground electrode, and a peripheral electrode. The ground electrode opposes the radiating element. The peripheral electrode is on a layer between the radiating element and the ground electrode and electrically connected to the ground electrode. The radiating element radiates a radio wave in a first polarization direction. A dimension of the ground electrode in the first polarization direction is shorter than a dimension of the ground electrode in a specific direction orthogonal to the first polarization direction. When the dielectric substrate is seen in plan view in a layered direction, at least a portion of the peripheral electrode is disposed between an end portion of the ground electrode and an end portion of the radiating element in the first polarization direction.

    Abstract: An array antenna is formed of a plurality of antenna modules disposed adjacent to each other and including a plurality of antenna modules. Each of the antenna modules includes a dielectric substrate, a ground electrode, and a sub-array. The sub-array is formed of a plurality of radiating elements facing the ground electrode. In the sub-array, the plurality of radiating elements are arranged in a matrix, and each includes multiple feeding points. The sub-array is disposed along an end portion of the dielectric substrate. The sub-array has a center deviated from a center of the dielectric substrate toward the end portion. An end portion of a first antenna module faces an end portion of a second antenna module in a first direction that is defined as a direction from the first antenna module toward the second antenna module.
    The first antenna module is rotationally symmetric to the second antenna module.

    Abstract: A dual-band antenna device allowed to perform communication at a first frequency in a predetermined frequency band and at a second frequency in a frequency band higher than the predetermined frequency band includes: a ground conductor; a folded antenna conductor including a first linear part and a second linear part that are caused to face each other at a distance by folding; an LC resonant circuit that is included in the folded antenna conductor, that lets the first frequency pass, and that lets the second frequency attenuate; and a feeding point between the ground conductor and the folded antenna conductor. A narrow gap part is provided between the first linear part and the second linear part of the folded antenna conductor, the narrow gap part measuring a distance shorter than a distance measured in a different portion between the first linear part and the second linear part.

    Abstract: An antenna module including a dielectric substrate having a long side and a short side, a ground electrode, a radiating element, a peripheral electrode, and a parasitic element.     Abstract: An antenna module has a substrate, a radiating element disposed in or on the substrate, a power feeding line, and a dielectric body. The substrate has a rectangular shape including first and second sides adjacent to each other. The power feeding line extends in a normal direction of the substrate and transfers radio frequency signals supplied from an RFIC to the radiating element. The dielectric body is disposed on a side surface of the substrate. The power feeding line is coupled to the radiating element at a position offset from the center of the radiating element in a first direction toward the first side. The dielectric body is disposed so as to cover the side surface of the substrate including the first side.     Abstract: An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate, a radiation electrode, a ground electrode, and a current-interrupting element. The radiation electrode is disposed in a layer of the dielectric substrate, and the ground electrode is disposed in another layer of the dielectric substrate. The current-interrupting element is electrically connected to the ground electrode. The current-interrupting element is configured to interrupt a current flowing through the ground electrode. The current-interrupting element has a first edge portion electrically connected to the ground electrode and a second edge portion left open and includes a planar electrode parallel to the ground electrode. The dimension of the current-interrupting element in the direction from the first edge portion to the second edge portion is about λ/4, where λ is the wavelength of a radio-frequency signal radiated from the radiation electrode.

    Abstract: An antenna module includes a radiation electrode in which a radio frequency signal is supplied to a first feed point and a second feed point. The antenna module further includes a feed wire configured to supply a radio frequency signal to the first feed point of the radiation electrode and a feed wire branching from the feed wire and configured to supply a radio frequency signal to the second feed point. The feed wire includes two paths connected in parallel between the first feed point and the second feed point and having the same length.
