摘要: There is provided a micromirror device, which is provided with a mirror layer including a mirror surface which is supported to be rotatable around a first axis passing through a center of the mirror surface, and an upper substrate having transparency including a first upper electrode part and a second upper electrode part arranged on its surface facing the mirror layer to face each other via a first upper boundary passing through a center of the surface and parallel to the first axis, and a lower substrate including a first lower electrode part and a second lower electrode part arranged on its surface facing the mirror layer to face each other via a first lower boundary passing through a center of the surface and parallel to the first axis. The upper substrate is stacked on one side of the mirror layer while securing a first space between the center of the mirror surface and the first and second upper electrode parts, while the lower substrate is stacked on the other side of the mirror layer while securing a second space between the center of the mirror surface and the first and second lower electrode parts. The mirror surface is rotated around the first axis by applying voltage to a pair of the electrodes placed diagonally with respect to the first axis.

摘要: An in-line oscillating cam assembly which includes a housing, a cam shaft having a longitudinal axis, and a pair of eccentric drive cams longitudinally spaced apart from each other and mounted on the cam shaft eccentrically out of phase. The pair of drive cams have opposed circumferential chamfered surfaces oriented at an inclined angle relative a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cam shaft. The cam shaft is supported upon the housing and is also rotatable about the longitudinal axis. Further included in the assembly is a follower shaft spaced apart from and parallel to the drive shaft, and a cam follower longitudinally fixed to the follower shaft and extending between the pair of drive cams. The cam follower has a pair of opposed frustoconical follower-surfaces engaging the chamfered surfaces of the pair of drive cams. Thus, rotating one of the cam shaft and follower shaft causes the other one of the cam shaft and follower shaft to axially oscillate.

摘要: A dust collection system for a power tool which comprises a drive unit, a body, a tool support, and a collection chute. The body defines an inlet opening and a discharge opening, the body having a communicating conduit located within the body which communicates the inlet opening with the discharge opening, and the body supporting the drive unit. The tool support is operably connected to the drive unit and defines a collection aperture, an exit opening which communicates directly with the inlet opening of the body during operational movement of the tool support, and a suction cavity in communication with both the collection aperture and the exit aperture. The collection chute has a collection end and a distal end, the collection end adapted to be connected to the body in a plurality of different positions in communication with the discharge opening of the body and the distal end adapted to be connected to the vacuum dust collector such that dust and other debris generated during operation of the power tool will be sucked sequentially through the collection aperture, the suction cavity, the communicating conduit, and out the collection chute.

摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display apparatus having preferable viewing performance with low cost. A display in a dark state is performed with an applied voltage which makes a square sum of deviation of normalized Stokes parameters S1', S2' for light transmitted through a twisted nematic liquid crystal layer having wavelengths, 450 nm, 500 nm, 550 nm, 600 nm, 650 nm from their regression line 51 equal to or less than 0.05, a slow axis 52 of an optical compensation layer crosses over perpendicularly with the regression line 51 on a Poincare sphere sighted from a S3' axis direction, a phase difference of the optical compensation layer, .delta.(.lambda.), is defined by the following equation;.delta.(.lambda.)=180n.+-.arctan((S1'cos2.theta.-2S2'sin2.theta.)/S3')and an absorbing axis 53 of a higher polarizer is set so as to cross over either of two points, A and B, at which the regression line crosses over the equator on the Poincare sphere.

摘要: A removable working tool assembly that can be used with a power driven tool having a drive shaft. The removable working tool assembly includes a drive member which can operably connected to the drive shaft and a support member having a tool surface. One of the drive and support members defines a male connection mechanism while the other one of the members defines a female connection mechanism such that the members can be simply connected and disconnected without the need for tools or any other fastener elements. This allows various support members to be easily changed to facilitate the use of different tool surfaces such as sanders, grinders, scrapers or the like.
