摘要： The present invention provides a technology capable of achieving a highly-sensitive flow sensor, by forming a metal film having a relatively high TCR on a semiconductor substrate via an insulating film. A measurement device which is a thermal fluid flow sensor includes a heat element, resistance temperature detectors (upstream-side resistance temperature detector and downstream-side resistance temperature detector), and a resistance temperature detector for air which are all formed of a first metal film. The first metal film is formed of an α-Ta film having a resistivity lower than three times the resistivity of a Ta ingot and obtained by deposition through sputtering on an amorphous film containing metal.

摘要： A content protection system prevents illegal key acquisition, without checking uniqueness of device keys. The content protection system includes a key data generation apparatus and a user terminal. The key data generation apparatus converts first key data, which is for using content, based on a predetermined conversion rule, thereby generating second key data, encrypts the second key data using a device key held by valid terminals, and outputs the encrypted key data. The user terminal obtains the encrypted key data, decrypts the encrypted key data using a device key held by the user terminal, thereby generating second key data, converts the second key data based on a re-conversion rule corresponding to the conversion rule, thereby generating the first key data, and uses the content with use of the generated first key data.

摘要： A fixing device has a heating roller and a pressure belt. Surface hardness of the pressure belt is higher than surface hardness of the heating roller. An overall length of the pressure belt is longer than an overall length of a rubber layer of the heating roller. Both ends of the pressure belt are positioned outside both ends of the rubber layer of the heating roller. Thereby, the heating roller is improved in service life, so that the fixing device as a whole is improved in service life.

Consequently, it is possible to shorten a term necessary for switching or changing the effective signal receiving direction of the multi-directional antenna to the optimum signal receiving direction of the channel chosen by the user.

摘要： The annealing process at 400° C. or more required for the wiring process for a phase change memory has posed the problem in that the crystal grains in a chalcogenide material grow in an oblique direction to cause voids in a storage layer. The voids, in turn, cause peeling due to a decrease in adhesion, variations in resistance due to improper contact with a plug, and other undesirable events. After the chalcogenide material has been formed in an amorphous phase, post-annealing is conducted to form a (111)-oriented and columnarly structured face-centered cubic. This is further followed by high-temperature annealing to form a columnar, hexagonal closest-packed crystal. Use of this procedure makes it possible to suppress the growth of inclined crystal grains that causes voids, since crystal grains are formed in a direction perpendicular to the surface of an associated substrate.
