Abstract: A method for managing network live streaming data and a related apparatus, device and storage medium, the method includes: a stream pushing request transmitted by a data access device is received; a stream pushing parameter set based on a media content feature of stream pushing data from multiple data sources in the data access device is determined; a target port is then determined according to the stream pushing parameter; the stream pushing data transmitted by the data access device is further received through the target port; and the stream pushing data is pushed to a live streaming device, so that the live streaming device plays media content data in a network live streaming process. In this way, a process of combining media content of multiple terminals and performing network live streaming is implemented.

Abstract: Techniques for rapidly delivering broadcasted live content are described. In an example, a transaction request to create placeholder non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in a token repository (106) is sent, where NFTs represent unique digital items. In response to the transaction request, an address allocated to a placeholder NFT from the plurality of placeholder NFTs in the token repository (106) is received. A notification indicating availability of the piece of live content is then transmitted to a user device (102), where the notification is indicative of the address allocated to the placeholder NFT in the token repository (106). In the meantime, a unique representation of the piece of live content is generated and populated on the token repository (106).

Abstract: A media device receives a domain key from a service provider. The media device further encrypts media with a media key and encrypts the media key with the domain key to form an encrypted media token: the protected media key is encapsulated in an encrypted media token. The service provider may then receive the encrypted media token and one or more receiving entity identifiers relating to a receiving entity and ascertain whether the receiving entity is entitled to access media from the media device. If the receiving entity is entitled to access media from the media device, the service provider decrypts the cryptographic media token using the domain key to obtain the media key and providing the media key to the receiving entity. As such, an authenticated receiving entity may obtain the media key necessary to decrypt the media. Moreover, there is no requirement for any intermediate entity to have similar access and thus the encryption provided by the media key is in place throughout the transport of the media from media device to receiving entity.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to generate measures of unique audiences for Internet-based media. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes at least one memory, instructions, and at least one processor. The processor to execute the instructions to: receive first HyperLogLog (HLL) data from a first server of a first database proprietor and second HyperLogLog (HLL) data from a second server of a second database proprietor, the first HLL data including obfuscated first user impression data and the second HLL data including obfuscated second user impression data; generate union HLL data based on the first HLL data from the first database proprietor and the second HLL data from the second database proprietor by performing a union of data sets of the obfuscated first user impression data represented in the first HLL data and the obfuscated second user impression data represented in the second HLL data; and determine a total number of deduplicated unique audience members based on the union HLL data generated by the vector analyzer.

Abstract: Techniques for a smartphone-based conditional access (CA) system are described. In some embodiments, a headend in the CA system obtains a security profile associated with a pair of receiving devices used by a user, e.g., a first device (e.g., a smartphone) and a second device (e.g., a set-top-box or a TV). The headend dynamically regulates user access to requested media content during each entitlement period by assigning and distributing separate keys to the first and second device based on the security profile. The headend also uses the distributed keys to protect the media content before broadcasting. On the receiving end, one receiving device receives the media content and determines whether it is decryptable by the device. If decryptable, the receiving device (e.g., the set-top-box/TV) decrypts the media content using the keys assigned by the headend. Otherwise, the receiving device forwards the media content to the pairing device for decryption.

Abstract: A technique for securely transferring content from a first device in a first layer to a second device in a second layer. In one embodiment, the first device is a device in a trusted domain and the second device is outside of the trusted domain. Transfer of protected content to another device may require authentication of the receiving device. A rights file which specifies the rights of the receiving device to use the protected content, according to its security level is also transferred. These rights may concern, e.g., the number of times the receiving device may transfer the protected content to other devices, the time period within which the receiving device may play the protected content, etc. The higher the security level of the receiving device, the more rights accorded thereto. A minimum security level requirement may be imposed in order for protected content to be transferred to a device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for control of data and content protection mechanisms across a network using a download delivery paradigm. In one embodiment, conditional access (CA), digital rights management (DRM), and trusted domain (TD) security policies are delivered, configured and enforced with respect to consumer premises equipment (CPE) within a cable television network. A trusted domain is established within the user's premises within which content access, distribution, and reproduction can be controlled remotely by the network operator. The content may be distributed to secure or non-secure “output” domains consistent with the security policies enforced by secure CA, DRM, and TD clients running within the trusted domain. Legacy and retail CPE models are also supported. A network security architecture comprising an authentication proxy (AP), provisioning system (MPS), and conditional access system (CAS) is also disclosed, which can interface with a trusted authority (TA) for cryptographic element management and CPE/user device authentication.

Abstract: Federated systems for issuing playback certifications granting access to technically protected content are described. One embodiment of the system includes a registration server connected to a network, a content server connected to the network and to a trusted system, a first device including a non-volatile memory that is connected to the network and a second device including a non-volatile memory that is connected to the network. In addition, the registration server is configured to provide the first device with a first set of activation information in a first format, the first device is configured to store the first set of activation information in non-volatile memory, the registration server is configured to provide the second device with a second set of activation information in a second format, and the second device is configured to store the second set of activation information in non-volatile memory.
