摘要： The present application provides a second battery cell comprising first and second electrodes, first and second tabs, and a separator. The first electrode and second electrode include first and second current collectors and first and second active material layers respectively. The first and second electrodes are formed with first and second tab accommodating grooves for accommodating the first and second tabs respectively. The first tabs are arranged in pairs, and two first tabs in each pair are respectively located on the upper and lower sides of the first winding starting section of the first electrode along the thickness direction of the secondary battery cell; and/or the second tabs are arranged in pairs, and two second tabs in each pair are respectively located on the upper and lower sides of the second winding starting section of the second electrode along the thickness direction of the secondary battery cell.

The negative electrode active substance layer is provided with a second groove, the second groove is corresponding to the first groove, the second groove extends along a thickness direction of the electrode assembly to the negative electrode current collector. The second groove is provided with a first protective adhesive inside, so as to ensure thickness consistency between the groove and a body zone of the electrode plate and reducing the risk of short circuit.
