Abstract: A method and apparatus may include transmitting a single-cell point-to-multipoint information request to a network node. The single-cell point-to-multipoint information request indicates a first service is provided by the network node. The method may include receiving a single-cell point-to-multipoint information response. The single-cell point-to-multipoint information response indicates whether the first service is provided by the network node. The method may also include transmitting a first message to user equipment. The first message indicates to the user equipment whether or not the first service is provided by the network node.

The method can also include applying, by the relay user equipment, a priority based on the indication received from the remote user equipment.

Abstract: A method of transmission of excess data associated with a multicast service is scheduled on another radio communication resource. The multicast service may be MBMS or push-to-talk. The method includes determining, at the eNodeB base station, that an amount of data to be multicast during an upcoming scheduling period exceeds the associated multicast communication resource, and accordingly temporarily allocate additional resources on another multicast service communication resource, or else on resources dedicated to conventional services, or else on both kind of resources simultaneously. The base station transmits an indication to the UE(s) about the additional allocation(s) by using MCH scheduling information, such signaling comprising a logical channel identification, LCID, field.
