    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for PHR for a serving cell, wherein an active BWP of the serving cell is a dormant BWP. A UE sends a PHR to at least a network node to report PH of the serving cell; the network node receives the PHR from the UE to report PH of the serving cell and obtains PH value from the PHR for the serving cell. Herein at least one of the following is reported for the serving cell: 1) Type 1 PH; 2) Type 3 PH; 3) a designated field indicating whether the PH is Type 1 or Type 3; 4) a designated field indicating whether the serving cell is on a dormant BWP or non-dormant BWP.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to beam reporting triggered by data transmission. A first device receives from a second device configuration information concerning at least one candidate beam for serving the first device. The first device determines whether data is available for transmission from the first device to the second device. If the data is available for transmission, the first device selects at least one first reference signal identifying the at least one candidate beam based on the configuration information. The first device transmits information concerning the selected at least one first reference signal to the second device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to reporting preconfigured up-link transmission failure. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal device logs failures associated with transmission on the preconfigured resources and failure causes. The terminal device transmits the logged information to the network device. In this way, the network device is aware of the failure occurrences and their reasons. The network device is able to use the information for configuring uplink resources more efficiently and the resources can be efficiently allocated for other purpose or other terminal devices.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to mechanism for sharing HARQ processes by multiple configured grant resources. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, multiple configured grant resources share a common pool of HARQ processes. The network device transmits information concerning the multiple configured grants resources and the common pool HARQ process to the terminal device. Further, for one of the multiple configured grant resources, the terminal device selects a HARQ process from the common pool of HARQ processes. In this way, the throughput has improved and the low latency for high priority data is ensured.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to mechanism for providing multiple transmission opportunities. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device transmits the random access response which includes an indication as to the number of transmission opportunities. If the random access response includes the preamble of the terminal device, the indication as to the number of transmission opportunities is applied to the terminal device.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to mechanism for first random access mode falling back to second random access mode. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the fallback to second random access mode is indicated in messageB and the user equipment only needs to monitor the messageB for the quick mode on the downlink control signal which is addressed to an identifier. The user equipment does not need to monitor the downlink control channel for the second random access mode. In this way, the user equipment is allowed to fall back to the second random access mode without further retry of the quick node, thereby reducing overload and latency.

The method includes detecting a beam failure on a serving cell of the terminal device, the serving cell including at least one of a primary cell and a secondary cell serving the terminal device. The method further includes in response to detecting the beam failure on the serving cell, generating a medium access control, MAC, control element, CE, the MAC CE including a field associated with the serving cell, wherein the field is set to be a predefined value indicating the beam failure.
