    摘要: Insertion piece portions 25, each having a retaining portion 25a formed at a distal end thereof, is formed on that portion of a cover opening/closing portion 17 disposed near to a hinge portion 17. A cover body portion 11 has insertion hole portions 26 into which the insertion piece portions 25 can be fittingly inserted, respectively. The cover opening/closing portion 17 and the cover body portion 11 include slanting walls 22 and 16, respectively, which are opposed to each other, with the hinge portion 27 disposed therebetween, and the insertion piece portions 25 are formed on the slanting wall 22 of the cover opening/closing portion 17, and the insertion hole portions 26 are formed in the slanting wall 16 of the cover body portion 11. The pair of insertion piece portions 25 are provided, and the retaining portions 25a of the pair of insertion piece portions 25 project inwardly toward each other or outwardly away from each other. With this construction, the insertion piece portions 25 of the cover opening/closing portion 17 are inserted respectively into the insertion hole portions in the cover body portion 11, and the retaining portions 25a of the cover opening/closing portion 17 are retained by the insertion hole portions 26, respectively, so that the cover opening/closing portion 17 is held in the open condition.

The guide groove is constituted by a wide portion 59a having an inclined guide face 59c and a narrow portion 59b extended in a closing direction successively to the wide portion. A groove wall surface linking the wide portion and the narrow portion is set to be a position regulating face 59d for a guide rib 25. Internal surfaces of side walls 22b and 22c of a second cover 21 constituting a protective cover 10 are provided with the guide rib to enter the guide groove and a locking convex portion 26 to be engaged with the concave portion, and an internal surface of an upper wall 22a of the second cover is provided with a position regulating rib 27 to abut on the upper part of the fuse unit. The locking convex portion and the position regulating rib are provided in the same plane which is orthogonal to both side walls of the second cover.

    摘要: The power circuit breaker has an igniter unit disposed in a cylindrical wall formed in a main housing. A holder is disposed in the cylindrical wall so as to oppose to the igniter unit. The holder has a boss engaged with the cylindrical wall, and a fuse element is held by the holder. Each end of the fuse element is electrically connected to one of a pair of interconnection terminals disposed in the main housing. The holder is locked by a locking lance formed in the main housing when each end of the fuse element has engaged with one of the interconnection terminals. The holder rests on the locking lance when the fuse element has been released from the interconnection terminals after activation of the igniter unit. The fuse element is engaged with and stopped by an insertion hole of the holder. The interconnection terminals each are a receptacle type terminal having two resilient contact strip portions one of which is connected to one end of the fuse element and the other of which is connected to an opposing terminal of a power circuit.

This high-current fuse includes a conductive plate having a fuse and terminal connecting portions on both ends, and a resin case into which the conductive plate is insert-molded. A heat radiating portion for releasing heat generated from the fuse and the conductive plate when energized is provided on the outer surface of the resin case. The heat radiating portion is made up of a plurality of thin plates arranged on the resin case at regular intervals. The thin plates are situated in parallel with the energizing direction so as to strengthen the resin case. To keep the fuse away from both ends of the conductive plate, a pair of assisting plates facing to each other are formed in the middle of the conductive plate, and the fuse is disposed between the assisting plates. The fuse between the assisting plates is in the direction perpendicular to the energizing direction of the conductive plate.
