摘要： A capacitive load driving unit includes a plurality of capacitive loads, a drive circuit for charging and discharging the capacitive loads, a pair of power lines for supplying a drive voltage from an external power source to the drive circuit, and a current reserve circuit for reserving a current required by the drive circuit for charging the capacitive loads. The current reserve circuit includes a capacitor that is charged by the drive voltage from the power lines, and a coupler section for coupling the capacitor between the power lines except for when a defect inspection is conducted.

摘要： A head driving device includes an ink-jet head having a large number of ink chambers arranged side by side and separated by piezoelectric elements, FETs for connecting electrodes of the ink chambers to a +Vcc power source line, FETs for connecting the electrodes of the ink chambers to a -Vcc power source line, bi-directional switches for connecting the electrodes of the ink chambers to a ground line, selectors each for selecting one of a plurality of pulse signals in which at least one of the pulse width and pulse interval is different according to gradation data, sequencers for generating sequence signals according to the pulse signals from the selectors, and decoders for decoding the sequence signals into driving signals and supplying them to the FETs and bi-directional switches. Particularly, the head driving device changes the voltage and timing for causing the piezoelectric element to effect the distorting operation according to the selected pulse signal so as to change an amount of ink ejected from the ink chamber and perform the gradation printing for each dot.

摘要： According to one embodiment, an inkjet recording apparatus includes a plurality of inkjet heads of a multi-drop method, a first controller, and a second controller. The first controller controls ejection of ink drops from a first inkjet head for ejecting a first ink for which print resolution is required, in a manner that a number of ink dots formed in a main scanning direction is great, and that the number of ink drops ejected for each one of the ink dots is small. The second controller controls ejection of the ink drops from a second inkjet head for ejecting a second ink for which coverage over a recording surface of the recording medium is required, in a manner that a number of ink dots formed in the main scanning direction is small, and that the number of ink drops ejected for each of the ink dots is great.

摘要： A system for automatically tracking objects through a video sequence uses a method which automatically tracks an object by estimating the location of the object in a subsequent frame, comparing test windows in the subsequent frame with an object window encompassing the object in the original frame, and selecting the best match window which is most similar to the object window. The location of the best match window corresponds to the location of the object in each frame of the video sequence. The resulting location information can be combined with the video sequence to create interactive video applications in which an user of the application can select individual objects in the interactive video sequence.

摘要： A printer head is so structured that, with each time division groups given as A, B, C, the head and printing data are moved at predetermined speeds and, with the sequential drive order of the respective division groups given as A, B, C, a printing result emerges in one row in a nozzle direction to a relative moving direction of the head and printing medium. In this printer head, a driving is effected in a sequential drive order including C, B, A with a relative speed between the head and the printing medium set double its speed and print data corresponding to each time division is received and printed so that a printing result in the relative moving direction emerges at a pitch double that predetermined pitch and a printing result of the groups A, C nozzles and B nozzles emerges in a state displaced by a predetermined pitch.
