Abstract: A fitting, in particular an outlet fitting, for a sanitary installation has a control unit, a sanitary element controllable with the control unit, and at least one imaging sensor. The control unit is adapted to trigger an action of the sanitary element depending on an object recognition based on at least one output signal from the at least one imaging sensor. A fitting arrangement with such a fitting as well as a method for controlling such a fitting are also provided.

Abstract: A method for detecting a leak in a line system having a distribution line where the first end can be closed by a first valve and at the second end of which at least one consumer is arranged, a pressure sensor by means of which the pressure in the distribution line can be ascertained, and at least one second valve wherein at least one second valve is arranged between the pressure sensor and at least one of the consumers is disclosed. The method contains the steps of a) closing the first valve, b) ascertaining a first pressure reduction rate (PR1); c) closing the at least one second valve; d) ascertaining a second pressure reduction rate (PR2); and e) determining the region of the leak on the basis of the ascertained pressure reduction rates (PR1, PR2).

Abstract: A method for heating or cooling rooms in a building with a temperature-controlled system, the temperature-controlled system has a central heater or cooler with a run-around coil system having a supply line and a return line, a central circulation pump for circulating a temperature-control fluid in the run-around coil system, at least two heat exchanger devices that thermally supply one room of the building and are connected to the supply line and the return line of the run-around coil system, one valve with an actuator for each heat exchanger device, one room temperature sensor for each thermally supplied room, and a central open- and closed-loop control unit that is connected to the actuators of the valves and to the room temperature sensors. The method serves to bring about, in the thermally supplied rooms, a temperature transition from a starting state to an end state, with corresponding room temperature setpoint values.

Abstract: A control cartridge (2) for installation in a cartridge housing (3) of a sanitary fitting (1) comprises a first feed opening (4) and a discharge opening (6) as well as one or more seals (7), which are configured for sealing abutment on an internal surface (8) of the cartridge housing (3). Said seals (7) are arranged in such a way that after the completed installation of the control cartridge (2) in a cartridge housing (3) of a sanitary fitting (1) the first feed opening (4) is joined in a sealed manner to a cold-water or mixed-water connection (9) of the sanitary fitting (1) and the discharge opening (6) is joined in a sealed manner to a discharge pipe (11) of the sanitary fitting (1). The first feed opening (4) in the cartridge housing (3) or in the control cartridge (2) is directly connected to the discharge opening (6) which is sealed with respect to the cartridge housing (3). The control cartridge (2) comprises a second feed opening (5) in which an electric line (12) is disposed which connects an electrical switch (13) of the control cartridge (2) to a valve (16) arranged in a cold-water or mixed-water feed pipe (14) at least for switching a water flow on and off.

Abstract: Temperature-control system used for heating or cooling in a method for controlling temperature of a component includes connected temperature-control device, temperature-control arrangement, supply line, and return line. The system additionally has a controller having a valve, an actuator, a supply temperature sensor, and a return temperature sensor. A temperature difference between the supply temperature and the return temperature of a fluid circulating in the system is registered using the supply temperature sensor and the return temperature sensor and also a regulator. Proceeding from this temperature difference, the regulator causes the actuator to set a degree of opening of the valve so the temperature difference is in a selected value range. The valve always has a minimal degree of opening in the open state.
