摘要: A system and method for crowd-sourced environmental system control and building maintenance includes a server for providing selective access to building occupants and managers. Users are permitted to generate building reports in the form of (i) thermal reports using a thermal report module, and/or (ii) maintenance reports using a maintenance report module. The reports are each geo-located to locations within the building, and are then captured, stored, and aggregated at the server. The aggregated reports are sorted according to their geo-locations and comfort rules are used to (i) permit a manager at a client computer to access the server to respond, and/or (ii) automatically respond and assign a response status to particular reports. An inspection checklist interface is generated and populated to display a list of preventative maintenance tasks, each of the tasks being user-selectable to designate completion, with the updated status of the reports being stored at the server.

摘要: A controller for controlling a machine includes a coolant monitoring function. The controller generates and records history information in which the measurement values of a state of a coolant are associated with time information on the time when the measurement values are measured. Then, a rate of change in a measurement value for a state of the coolant is calculated based on the recorded history information, and a state of the coolant and a countermeasure therefore are determined based on the calculated rate of change in the measurement value.

摘要: Accessing an energy management policy for a plurality of devices is described, wherein the devices are coupled with a first structure. The energy usage of the devices is monitored. An energy usage rule and energy usage is then compared. The energy management policy and energy usage is also compared. Based on the comparing, an instruction is generated to modify an energy usage profile of said device to correlate with the energy usage rule associated with the devices and the energy management policy, thereby enabling efficient energy management.

摘要: A vehicle air conditioning control device calculates, through a thermal load calculating unit, a vehicle interior thermal load Q on the basis of, for example, a vehicle interior temperature Tin, a vehicle interior humidity Hin, a vehicle exterior temperature Tout, a passenger load factor θ, and a vehicle-interior-temperature set value Tset. Through an air conditioning output calculating unit, the vehicle air conditioning control device calculates an output command value for an air conditioner on the basis of a vehicle-interior-temperature upper-limit value Tmax, a vehicle-interior-temperature lower-limit value Tmin, the thermal load Q, power-running/regenerative electric power P, and then, corrects the calculated output command value for the air conditioner on the basis of power-running/regenerative electric power Pf at or after a prediction time point and of a passenger load factor Of at or after the prediction time point.

摘要: A conversion unit for an air conditioning system to cause it to act like the cooling unit of a refrigeration system comprises a frost detector, an A/C temperature control defeating mechanism and a control unit which operate together to force the range of operation of the air conditioning unit into the range of operation of a refrigeration unit. The conversion unit is particularly useful for providing low cost cooling systems for farmers in third world countries for keeping their produce fresh and safe, not to mention its use by all farmers around the world and by florists or others in need or desire of an economical refrigeration alternative. The present invention is also usable to provide inexpensive cooling to RV's and to refrigerated vehicles.

摘要: An on demand tankless water heater system that is capable of quickly delivering water within a desired temperature range. The tankless water heater provides a hybrid heating method that contains a primary heating system and a secondary heating system disposed in a buffer tank that cooperate to facilitate control of output water temperature during water usage. A pressure differential switch detects low flow demand and allows the secondary heating system to provide immediate heating to the water. This secondary heating system provides a faster temperature response and fine tuning of output water temperature.
