Abstract: A makeup application assist device includes an image acquisition circuitry which, in operation, acquires a user face image, a target face image, and an adjusted face image, an image determination circuitry which, in operation, adopts a makeup item assigned to each of face parts in the target face image if a difference value between a facial feature extracted from the user face image and a facial feature extracted from the target face image is less than or equal to a threshold value and adopts a makeup item assigned in the adjusted face image for each on a subset of the face parts having the feature that differs from the feature in the target face image if the difference value is greater than the threshold value, and an information generation circuitry which, in operation, generates makeup procedure information to be presented to a user, where the makeup procedure information includes a procedure for using the adopted makeup items.

Abstract: A makeup assisting apparatus includes a makeup collector that collects, from each of a plurality of people, an applied makeup information item indicating makeup selected by the person as makeup to be applied in a makeup application, a makeup analyzer that estimates fashionable makeup by analyzing the collected applied makeup information items and determines a selection criterion in such a way that the estimated fashionable makeup is selected, and a makeup presenter that selects makeup based on the determined selection criterion and presents proposed makeup information indicating the selected makeup and cosmetics information of cosmetics required for applying the makeup to the user.

Abstract: An image processing device includes: an image input unit that inputs a facial image from a predetermined device; an image analyzing unit that calculates one of facial shape, proportion lines that are lines drawn on the face to analyze the balance of the face, and blocking lines that divide the face into multiple regions following the structure of the face according to lightness and darkness of shadows due to light striking the face, based on facial feature points extracted from the facial image; and an image generating unit that decides a superimposing region of a makeup parts image based on one of the facial shape, the proportion lines, and the blocking lines, and generates a simulation image where the makeup parts image has been superimposed on the superimposing region.

Abstract: A wrinkle care support device includes: a wrinkle change detector that detects a change made in a wrinkle after occurrence of the wrinkle, the wrinkle having occurred in skin by provision of predetermined stimulation; a wrinkle care information determiner that determines, based on the detected change, user presentation information relating to wrinkle care; and an information outputter that outputs the determined user presentation information. Note that the wrinkle care support device may further include: an image obtainer that obtains an image where the skin is photographed; and a wrinkle detector that detects the wrinkle from the obtained image. The detection of the change may include a detection of a wrinkle disappearing time starting from when the predetermined stimulation is provided until the wrinkle is no longer detected.
