Abstract: A makeup assisting apparatus includes a makeup collector that collects, from each of a plurality of people, an applied makeup information item indicating makeup selected by the person as makeup to be applied in a makeup application, a makeup analyzer that estimates fashionable makeup by analyzing the collected applied makeup information items and determines a selection criterion in such a way that the estimated fashionable makeup is selected, and a makeup presenter that selects makeup based on the determined selection criterion and presents proposed makeup information indicating the selected makeup and cosmetics information of cosmetics required for applying the makeup to the user.

Abstract: A gum massaging device includes a sheet member closely attachable to a gum, a gum-condition sensor disposed on the sheet member, and a massaging element disposed on the sheet member at a position corresponding to a position at which the gum-condition sensor is disposed, the massaging element operating in accordance with a detection result from the gum-condition sensor. The gum-condition sensor detects, for example, a color tone of a portion of the gum adjacent to the gum-condition sensor. The massaging element provides, for example, a pinching massage to a portion of the gum adjacent to the massaging element.

Abstract: A skin-attachment sheet for makeup includes a thin-film layer made of polylactic acid, polyglycolic acid, polycaprolactone, or a copolymer thereof, and a biocompatible polymer. The thickness of a first layer thereof is from 10 nm to 500 nm. An ink corresponding to a makeup image is printed on a surface of the thin-film layer on an opposite side of a surface of the thin-film layer attachable to the skin. The sheet also includes a mount that is provided on a surface on the thin-film layer, and that is capable of being peeled off from the surface on which the mount is provided.

Abstract: A massage apparatus includes a sheet member attachable to a skin of a body, and a pressure unit that presses the skin from the sheet member. The sheet member is elastic and thermoplastic such that the sheet member is hardened at a temperature of the skin and is softened at a predetermined temperate different from the temperature of the skin. The sheet member has one or more indications indicating an area of the skin to which the sheet member is to be attached. The pressure unit applies a pressure to the skin so as to provide a predetermined pressure distribution in which positions of the pressure distribution are defined with reference to one or more positions on the body in a situation in which the sheet member is attached to the area.
