Abstract: A circuit interrupter includes a fixed terminal, a movable contactor, a moving mechanism, a squib, and accommodation. The fixed terminal includes a fixed contact. The movable contactor includes a movable contact connected to the fixed contact. The moving mechanism is configured to move the movable contactor from a closed position where the movable contact is connected to the fixed contact to an open position where the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. The squib is configured to generate gas by combustion. The accommodation is for accommodating the fixed contact and the movable contactor. In the circuit interrupter, the gas is introduced into the accommodation.

Abstract: A circuit interrupter includes: a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact; a movable contactor which is formed as a separate part from the first fixed terminal and includes a first movable contact; a holding unit configured to hold the movable contactor so that the first movable contact is connected to the first fixed contact; and a squib configured to generate gas by combustion. In the circuit interrupter, pressure of the gas generated by the squib causes movement of the movable contactor in a direction away from the first fixed terminal so that the first movable contact is separated from the first fixed contact.

Abstract: A contact module includes a pair of contact devices, each of which includes a fixed terminal and a moving contactor. The moving contactor moves from a closed position where the moving contact is in contact with the fixed contact to an open position where the moving contact is out of contact with the fixed contact, and vice versa. One moving contactor generates, when energized, a magnetic field that applies force to the other moving contactor in a direction from the open position of the other moving contactor toward the closed position of the other moving contactor. The other moving contactor generates, when energized, a magnetic field that applies force to the one moving contactor in a direction from the open position of the one moving contactor toward the closed position of the one moving contactor.

Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact, a movable contactor, a shaft, first and second excitation coils, a fixed element, and first and second movable elements. The movable contact is movable from a closed position to an open position. The movable contact contacts to the fixed contact when the movable contact is positioned at the closed position. The movable contact is away from the fixed contact when the movable contact is positioned at the open position. The movable contactor includes the movable contact. The shaft is configured to move the movable contactor in one direction. The first movable element is movable to a first position and a second position. The first movable element is positioned at the first position when the first movable element is attracted by the fixed element due to the first excitation coil.
