The invention pertains to a method for determining a sequence of access (300) to a communications network (100) by a plurality of nodes (101, 102, 103, 5 104, 107) of said communications network (100) in the context of the broadcasting of a data content by a transmitter node (101) to a set of receiver nodes (103, 107, 104, 102), at least one receiver node (102, 104) having to receive said content by means of another receiver node (103, 107), called a relay receiver node.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for acknowledging data received by a communication device, the data being received by data packets, with each packet comprising a plurality of data blocks. The communication device: determines (E503), for a packet, the number of data blocks whose data can be processed correctly, sends (E509, E510; E515) an acknowledgement for at least one data block in the packet if the number of data blocks whose data can be processed correctly is between a first and a second threshold, and sends (E504, E505, E511, E512, E515), for the data packet, a piece of information at packet level representing the number of data blocks whose data can be processed correctly if the number of data blocks whose data can be processed correctly is lower than the first threshold or higher than the second threshold.
Abstract:
Method for managing a distribution of bandwidth in a communications network, corresponding computer-readable storage medium and slave node.A method is proposed for managing a distribution of bandwidth in a communications network by means of a slave node of the network, said network comprising a set of nodes. The slave node is such that it performs steps for: determining a coarse representation and a detailed representation of the distribution of the bandwidth in said network, as a function of a piece or pieces of information relative to conditions of transmission in said network and/or relative to applications needs of transmission; receiving a coarse reference representation of the distribution of bandwidth in said network, coming from a master node of said network; comparing said determined coarse representation and said reference coarse representation; should said coarse representations be identical, applying said determined detailed representation; if not, applying said coarse reference representation.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the invention pertains to a method for allocating bandwidth in a communications network, characterized in that it comprises steps for: a) determining a subset of elementary networks from a set of possible elementary networks in a communications network, the elementary networks of the subset each being capable of simultaneously implementing a elementary network encoding scheme; b) determining at least one critical destination node in the communications network; c) allocating at least one bandwidth portion released by an application of the elementary network encoding scheme in at least one elementary network of the subset, for a transmission of at least one additional data unit to the at least one critical destination node.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of resource reservation in the context of the transmission of a data content on a transmission path between a source device and a sink device belonging to a communications network. Said network comprises plurality of subnets interconnected by at least one interconnection device possessing at least two communications interfaces connected to said subnets.

Abstract:
The invention is directed to the optimization of an access to a medium in wireless networks which can be accessed by a plurality of nodes, each node of the plurality of nodes using a medium access mechanism of the Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance type based on a computation of a backoff value. A specific value is associated with each node of a set of nodes of the plurality of nodes, the specific value of a node being known by the other nodes of the set of nodes. According to the invention, a backoff value is determined (505, 510) for each node of the set of nodes, in each node of the set of nodes, the backoff value associated with a node being determined as a function of the specific value associated with that node.

Abstract:
A method for the management of resources for transmission compliant with a communications protocol, in a communications network, of a first data stream between a source device (101, 102, 103) and at least one sink device (106), is implemented by a manager device and comprises step of a first allocation of a first value of bandwidth, called a reference value, for the transmission of the first stream. Such a method furthermore comprises the following steps: obtaining a piece of information representing a first temporary value of bandwidth for the transmission of the first stream, associated with a relevance time interval; making a second allocation, for a duration equal to the relevance time interval, of a second value, called a validated value, of bandwidth for the transmission of the first stream dependant on the first temporary value of bandwidth for the transmission of the first stream.
