摘要: A content distribution system (300) has access control according to a predefined data access format. A studio (32) provides content data and related proprietary data on a record carrier (34) to be rendered by a rendering device (39). In the system applications (35) are executed on the device for manipulating the content data and related proprietary data. An access policy is set for each studio that controls access to said content data and related proprietary data. According to the invention a cross access policy is set for a virtual entity (42), and at least part of the proprietary data (43) is made available according to the cross access policy of the virtual entity. Also a cross studio application (41) is provided that complies with the access policy of the virtual entity for accessing said data for enabling the rendering device, when rendering the record carrier, to execute the cross studio application for accessing, for a multitude of studios, said at least part of the proprietary data.

摘要: A method of selecting a light source among a plurality of light sources by means of a remote controller includes the remote controller: instructing, by omnidirectional transmission, the light sources to each transmit a directional signal comprising a code, which is unique for each light source; receiving the directional signals from the light sources; and selecting one of the light sources on basis of the received directional signals. Furthermore, the method includes: generating, remotely of the light sources, codes to be transmitted by the light sources; and the remote controller instructing each one of the light sources which one of the remotely determined codes to transmit.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for selecting at least one of a plurality of controllable devices (121-123), wherein each of the controllable devices (121-123) is adapted to transmit a distinguishable signal. The method comprising the steps of receiving (301) the signals from the plurality of controllable devices by means of a plurality of receiver modules comprised in a control device (110), wherein each receiver module separately detects a contribution of the signals; determining (302), using a correlation between the different signal contributions, a width and an angle of incidence for each of the signals; comparing (303-304) the width and the angle of incidence for each of the signals with a set of predetermined criteria; and selecting (305) at least one of the plurality of controllable devices best matching the set of predetermined criteria.

摘要: The rewritable data storage medium (1) has a rewritable recording layer (9) provided with a tracking structure (8). Said layer (9) has a data recording area (5). An erasable identification mark is present in an identification mark area (4, 4′) other than the data recording area (5). The data recording area (5) has a first tracking structure (8′), whereas the identification mark area (4, 4′) is substantially free from a tracking structure or has a second tracking structure (8″) substantially different from the first tracking structure (8′).Thus erasure of the identification mark is practically impossible, because the location of the erasing spot of a recorder cannot be controlled precisely in radial direction.

摘要: Coded light has been proposed to enable advanced control of light sources and transmit information using light sources. It is based on invisibly embedding of data and identifiers in their light output. Methods, devices and systems configured to efficient assignment of addresses in a coded lighting system, still allowing for unique identification, are proposed. More specifically, the assignment of addresses occurs in two phases, where in the initial phase wide area unique addresses are used, while in the second phase only local area unique addresses are used. Also, methods, devices and systems configured to efficiently distribute a set of addresses over a set of light sources in this second phase, to maximize the performance of the illumination contribution estimation, and positioning, are disclosed.

摘要: There is provided a lighting system 100 comprising at least one lighting device 110, 120, 130 and a control unit 140 arranged for providing power P1,2,3 to each lighting device according to a control logic which is based on startup characteristics C1,2,3 of each lighting device. Thereby a lighting system is provided in which the individual characteristics of the lighting devices are taken into account when controlling the lighting devices. Since the control logic is based on startup characteristics for the lighting devices in the system, as an example, a reduction of the total standby power in the lighting system is achievable.
