摘要: A system comprises a mobile electronic device having a magnetometer sensor and one or more software modules executable by the mobile electronic device. The system further includes a controller having one or more magnets, where the controller may be detachably attached to the mobile electronic device or its case. The magnets and at least a portion of the controller may move relative to the mobile electronic device when attached to the mobile electronic device, where such relative movement is detectable by the magnetometer sensor. The software modules, when executed, may cause the mobile electronic device to perform an action based on magnetic field signals received from the magnetometer sensor that are generated in response to the relative movement of the magnets and at least the portion of the controller.

摘要: Induction charging devices and methods are disclosed for a portable electronic device that has a reception coil coupled to a power source and an outwardly projecting attachment mounted thereon. In some implementations, the devices include a housing having a wall with an outwardly facing charging surface and a recess sized to receive the attachment with the portable electronic device disposed on the charging surface. In some implementations, devices can include an attachment device coupled to a rear of a housing that can releasably secure to a portion of a vehicle and a mount coupled to a front of the housing. A charging assembly within the housing can include a transmission coil disposed so that with the recess or mount receiving the attachment therein, the transmission and reception coils are sufficiently aligned to charge the power source of the portable electronic device.

摘要: Wireless charging transfer devices are described herein that are configured to achieve wireless charging of portable electronic devices across a gap from a wireless charger. The devices include coil configuration including a receiver coil, a transmitter coil, and a bridge electrically coupling the receiver and transmitter coils across the gap. The coil configuration can be received within a housing that can provide storage space or can incorporate an expandable grip accessory.

摘要: Portable client devices, software operating on such devices, and methods are described herein that utilize rotational data of the device to at least partially control the output on a display of the device. More specifically, when operating the software, a rotation measurement device, such as an accelerometer and/or gyroscope, within the device can determine when a user rotates or spins the device and, in some versions, how fast a user rotates or spins the device, and thereafter a processing device can cause the display or portions thereof to be stabilized or spun using the rotational characteristics as input.

摘要: Portable computing devices, software operating on such devices, and methods are described that utilize rotational data of the device to manipulate media, such as audio, images, and/or video, operating on the device. More specifically, an accelerometer within the device can determine when a user rotates the device and a processing device can thereafter determine one or more manipulation operations to perform on the media based on the rotation. Additional rotational characteristics, such as spin direction, spin speed, spin rate of change, and the like, can further factor into the selection of the one or more manipulation operations.
