Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine to switch from a first cell of a first distributed unit (DU) to a second cell of a second DU, wherein the first DU and the second DU are included in a set of DUs of a central unit (CU). The UE may communicate, using layer 1 (L1) or layer 2 (L2) signaling to change an activation status of at least one cell of the first DU or the second DU. The UE may switch from the first cell to the second cell in connection with the change to the activation status of the at least one cell of the first DU or the second DU. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, related to long term sensing based inter-operator coexistence techniques for unlicensed high bands providing a measurement framework and candidate measurements, along with channel selection, per-beam channel deselection, and dynamic frequency selection. In one aspect, a network entity may determine that a non-coordinating node satisfies a communication presence threshold based on the at least one long term sensing measurement, and transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a remedial action, or adjusting the communication channel based on the determination. In another aspect, a UE may obtain at least one long term sensing measurement, and transmit a long term sensing report including the at least one long term sensing measurement.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access point (AP) may configure power parameters for sidelink communications between user equipments (UEs). The power parameters may be configured based on the UEs operating within an AP service area. In some examples, an AP may transmit one or more signals to the first UE, and the first UE may determine the power parameters based on receiving the signals. Additionally or alternatively, the first UE may be configured to transmit one or more reference signals to the AP, and the AP may configure the power parameters based on receiving the reference signals. The first AP may indicate the power parameters in a sidelink configuration transmitted to the first UE. The first UE may communicate with the second UE on a sidelink channel in accordance with the sidelink configuration, which may improve efficiency and reliability of the sidelink communications.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. A first method may include receiving at a user equipment (UE) over an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band an indication of a time window associated with a transmission of a synchronization signal, and monitoring the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band during the time window to receive a synchronization signal from a base station. A second method may include transmitting an indication of a time window associated with a transmission of a synchronization signal; performing a plurality of clear channel assessments (CCAs) on an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band during the time window; and transmitting the synchronization signal over the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band at a transmission time during the time window. The transmission time may be based at least in part on a result of at least one of the CCAs.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. An orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) configuration of an uplink channel is identified for communications in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. An OFDMA waveform is generated based on the identified OFDMA configuration. The OFDMA waveform is communicated in a signal in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. A virtual cell identifier of a first base station may be associated with transmissions between the first base station and a first user equipment (UE). A set of common resource blocks may be identified for transmission of a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) between the first base station and the first UE. A configuration of an uplink channel may be dynamically selected for uplink communications in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. A waveform may be generated based on the selected configuration. The waveform may be communicated in a signal in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band.

For instance, a first client device can determine a first transmit power parameter for transmitting sidelink communications. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter node may determine a set of desired transmit beams to use for transmissions during a channel occupancy time (COT), wherein each transmit beam in the set of desired transmit beams is associated with an energy detection threshold (EDT). The transmitter node may configure a sensing beam associated with a directional listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, wherein the sensing beam is associated with an EDT that is at least as strict as a strictest EDT associated with the set of desired transmit beams. The transmitter node may transmit using the set of desired transmit beams during the COT, wherein the COT is initiated based at least in part on an indication that the directional LBT procedure succeeded using the sensing beam. Abstract: Aspects are provided which improve LBT by associating contention windows with transmission burst lengths and by allowing contention windows and maximum burst lengths to be adjusted based on interference activity. For downlink, a UE receives a PG for a downlink transmission from a base station indicating a CCA length based on a contention window size associated at least with a burst length for the downlink transmission. The UE performs, after receiving the pre-grant, a CCA based on the CCA length, transmits an APG to the base station when the CCA is successful, and receives the downlink transmission in response to the APG. For uplink, the base station performs a CCA based on a contention window associated at least with a burst length for an uplink transmission, transmits an uplink grant to the UE when the CCA is successful, and receives the uplink transmission in response to the uplink grant.
