Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may utilize opportunistic cooperative relaying to support exchanging packets between UEs without establishing or maintaining beamforming alignment between the UEs. Specifically, a source UE may invite nearby UEs (e.g., helper UEs) that receive a sidelink transmission (e.g., a packet meant for a different destination UE) to perform a single frequency network (SFN)-type transmission to opportunistically relay the packet to the destination UE. The helper UEs may receive, decode, and transmit the sidelink signaling from the source UE without establishing or configuring a relay agreement with the source UE. The destination UE may receive the sidelink signaling via cascading, SFN-type transmissions by one or more helper UEs. The destination UE may respond to the sidelink signaling with feedback information via one or more helper UEs or directly to the source UE.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first UE may receive, from a second UE, resource reserving sidelink control information that indicates a transmit beam of the second UE and a sidelink resource of the second UE. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a first user equipment (UE) may transmit sidelink communications to a second UE, and the second UE may provide feedback associated with the sidelink communication to the first UE in a sidelink control information (SCI) transmission. In some cases, the SCI is first stage SCI transmitted in a sidelink control channel or second stage SCI transmitted in a sidelink shared channel. The feedback may include one or more of acknowledgment/negative-acknowledgment feedback, channel state information feedback, a scheduling request, or any combinations thereof. In some cases, the first UE may indicate resources of the second slot to the second UE for transmission of the feedback in the SCI, such as by providing a time offset value and resource index that identifies the resources.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a base station to configure constraints on one or more transmission directions of a UE to reduce interference between UEs. In one aspect, a UE receives, from a base station, a grant for time-frequency resources for transmitting to a second UE, the grant including information indicating at least one of a first subset of beams of a set of beams for which the grant applies or a second subset of beams of the set of beams for which the grant applies with a constrained transmission power. The UE transmits, to the second UE, a PSSCH through at least one beam of the first subset of beams based on the received grant, or through at least one beam of the second subset of beams with the constrained transmission power based on the received grant.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, a base station, and a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication are provided to reduce the retransmission latency for URLLC communications. Upon receiving a downlink data transmission, a UE waits until it completes decoding of the received downlink data transmission before it can send an ACK/NAK report on the decoded downlink data transmission. In case of a decoding failure, the base station cannot start retransmission until the UE finishes the decoding of the downlink data transmission and sends the ACK/NAK report and until the base station finishes decoding of an NAK in the ACK/NAK report. This considerable retransmission latency may not meet stringent latency requirements of some URLLC applications. A two-stage ACK/NAK reporting is disclosed to reduce the retransmission latency where the UE sends an early ACK/NAK report upon partially completing the decoding of the downlink data transmission.

A user equipment may monitor for a transmission over a set of periodically scheduled resources (e.g., semi-persistently scheduled resources)) of a downlink shared channel in an unlicensed spectrum. The user equipment may receive the transmission, where the transmission indicates a channel access configuration (e.g., a listen-before-talk configuration) for accessing the unlicensed spectrum. In some cases, the transmission may include a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) that indicates the channel access configuration. The transmission may additionally indicate at least one uplink channel over which the user equipment may transmit a message and/or a channel occupancy time associated with a successful acquisition of the unlicensed spectrum by the base station. The user equipment may transmit a message (e.g., an acknowledgement) based on the channel access configuration.
