Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a transmitting wireless device and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the device determines, based on the first parameter associated with a Forward Error Correction (FEC) process and a second parameter associated with a probabilistic shaping process, the transport block (TB) size for a TB associated with a signal to be transmitted, and performs the probabilistic shaping process on a first set of data bits of the signal on the TB to obtain a second set of transmit bits. The TB cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is inserted into the TB before or after the probabilistic shaping process, and the probabilistic shaping process is applied on the TB level across multiple code blocks (CBs) associated with the TB or on the CB level individually inside each CB of the multiple CBs. The device further transmits the signal using the second set of transmit bits.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an actual power delay profile (PDP) associated with a channel between the UE and a base station, wherein the actual PDP indicates an averaged power level of the channel over a period of time. The UE may determine whether a channel estimation mode switching event is satisfied. The UE may switch, based at least in part on the channel estimation mode switching event being satisfied, between a first channel estimation mode based at least in part on the actual PDP and a second channel estimation mode based at least in part on a template PDP. Abstract: A transmitter, such as a base station, identifies a potential collision between a first set of resources configured for a CORESET for a receiver and a second set of resources configured for a PT-RS for the receiver. The apparatus may determine whether colliding resources in the CORESET are configured/used for a control transmission or a data transmission. The apparatus punctures the PT-RS based on whether the colliding resources in the CORESET are configured/used for the control transmission (e.g., PDCCH). For example, the apparatus may puncture the PT-RS only for resource blocks of the CORESET colliding with the control transmission without puncturing the PT-RS over an entire set of the colliding resources configured for the CORESET. A receiver may similarly identify potential collisions and determine whether PT-RS will be punctured based on whether the colliding resources in the CORESET are configured/used for a control transmission or a data transmission.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for received signal quality dependent PDCCH monitoring adaptation are described. In some aspects, a mobile station may receive, from a base station, an indication of a relaxed physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback timeline associated with a dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) deployment in which a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT share a same frequency band. The mobile station may receive, from the base station, a PDSCH associated with the first RAT. The mobile station may transmit, to the base station, PDSCH HARQ-ACK feedback for the PDSCH associated with the first RAT based at least in part on the relaxed PDSCH HARQ-ACK feedback timeline associated with the DSS deployment.
