Abstract:
License management methods for use in a license management system are provided. The license management system includes licenses and first devices, each of which obtains one of the licenses. First, a license request from a second device is received and a license grade for each of the first devices and the second device is separately calculated based on a historical record of license usage corresponding to the first devices and the second device and an algorithm in response to the license request. Then, whether to agree the second device to obtain one of the licenses is determined according to the calculated grades and the number of remaining available licenses within the licenses.

A licensing platform is provided. The licensing platform, in communication with a first license sharing device and a second license sharing device, includes a license database and a main license sharing device. The license database provides a plurality of licenses. The main license sharing device includes: a license allocation manager, in communication with the license database, for dynamically managing a usage status of the plurality of licenses; a next-tier membership manager, in communication with the license sharing devices, for allocating at least one of the plurality of licenses to the license sharing devices, and updating a license usage status of the license sharing devices; and a license record manager, in communication with the license allocation manager and the next-tier membership manager, for recording the usage status of the plurality of licenses.

A cloud service system and a cloud service method thereof are disclosed herein. The cloud service method includes the following steps. A target file is downloaded to a private cloud system. A resource allocation setting corresponding to the target file is obtained. A resource establishment is automatically deployed according to the resource allocation setting, and the target file is installed on the resource allocation setting. A data structure and a default data corresponding to the target file are configured automatically.

A resource adjustment system and method for virtual machines (VMs) are provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a monitoring module, performance and status information of a first server and at least one VM of the first server; estimating, by an estimating module, the first server and each VM according to the performance and status information and an evaluation index and obtaining a server estimation score of the first server and a virtual machine estimation score of every VM; and finding, by a moving module, a second server according to the performance and status information and the evaluation index when a virtual machine estimation score of at least one first VM of the first server or the server estimation score exceeds a threshold, finding at least one VM suitable to be moved according to a moving order, and moving the at least one VM to the second server.

An apparatus and a method for generating a bill of materials for inspection are disclosed. The apparatus for generating a bill of materials for inspection comprises a risk operation module, a data filtering module, and a data outputting module. The risk operation module selects a material risk index, a manufacturer risk index, a laboratory risk index corresponding to a material from the risk database, and decides the risk level according to the material risk index, the manufacturer risk index, and the laboratory risk index. The data filtering module determines whether a material needs to be inspected according to the risk level. The data outputting module selects a material sample from the material, and adds the material sample to the bill of materials for inspection.

A resource adjustment system and method for virtual machines (VMs) are provided. An automatic software audit system includes a client and a server. The client includes a network interface, a software installation record database, a software audit rule database, a software release database and a central processing unit (CPU). The network interface is coupled to the client. The software installation record databases stores a software installation record of the client. The software audit rule database stores a software audit rule. The software release database stores a software release record of the client. The CPU installs an agent program to the client to collect the software installation record, and generates a software audit result of the client according to the software installation record, the software audio rule and the software release record.
