    摘要： An electrical interface includes a contact surface and a connector structure supporting the contact surface for electrical coupling with an electrical contact of a medical device, which device is contained within a package. The electrical interface facilitates coupling of the electrical contact of the packaged medical device to an electrical contact of another medical device, which is located outside the package. If the electrical contact of the packaged device is mounted within a bore of the device, then the connector structure allows for passage of a sterilizing gas into the connector bore, and past the connector contact, within the bore.

    摘要： Capacitor packaging according to the disclosure provides advantages particularly in connection to compact and/or complex-shaped medical devices (e.g., having limited interior volume defined by domed and/or irregular exterior surfaces). In addition, capacitors of the type shown and described herein can be utilized in relatively compact external defibrillators, such as automatic external defibrillators or clinician-grade, automated or manually-operated external defibrillators. In one form a plurality of capacitors having substantially flat exterior surfaces are placed in an abutting relationship between at least a pair of major surfaces and the major surfaces are spaced from an opposing or adjacent surface in a non-parallel configuration. In other forms, one or more exterior surface portions have a common and/or complex radius dimension (i.e., the surfaces are curved).

In one embodiment, the port assembly is fluidly connected to a reservoir, such that the port assembly constitutes a reservoir refill port.
