The system further includes a position controller configured to generate the positioning signal at a magnitude that is adjusted in response to the force signal to substantially compensate for the at least one external force in controlling the physical location of the movable object.

The method is performed by one or more processors of the image capturing device. The one or more processors automatically capture a plurality of images during a period of time using the lens of the device. Each of the plurality of images is processed to detect a presence of lightning within each image. Each image is processed based, at least part, on two consecutive captured images. Images that have been determined to include the presence of lightning are stored in a memory resource of the image capturing device.

Each of the initial positions may correspond to a position of the lens at which one of a plurality of objects has a highest quality.
