摘要: A positioning system and method are disclosed. The system includes an external force sensor configured to measure a magnitude of at least one external force acting upon a movable object disposed within a camera and to generate a force signal that is indicative of the magnitude of the at least one external force. The system also includes a positioning motor configured to control a physical location of the movable object in response to a positioning signal. The system further includes a position controller configured to generate the positioning signal at a magnitude that is adjusted in response to the force signal to substantially compensate for the at least one external force in controlling the physical location of the movable object.

摘要: Example embodiments disclosed herein relate to an imaging device and method. One example of such an imaging device includes a focus imaging unit and a camera imaging unit. The camera imaging unit is separate from the focus imaging unit and is configured to record an image. The imaging device additionally includes a focusing unit coupled to the focus imaging unit and the camera imaging unit. This focusing unit is configured to adjust a focus position of the focus imaging unit and the camera imaging unit. The imaging device further includes a control unit that is configured to actuate the focusing unit to adjust the focus position of the focus imaging unit and to thereby determine an optimal focus position, and to actuate the focusing unit to adjust the focus position of the camera imaging unit based on the determined optimal focus position.

摘要: A method is disclosed for capturing one or more images that include a lightning strike using an image capturing device. The method is performed by one or more processors of the image capturing device. The one or more processors automatically capture a plurality of images during a period of time using the lens of the device. Each of the plurality of images is processed to detect a presence of lightning within each image. Each image is processed based, at least part, on two consecutive captured images. Images that have been determined to include the presence of lightning are stored in a memory resource of the image capturing device.

摘要: Embodiments herein relate to setting a lens position based on focus scores. A plurality of initial positions of a lens are determined. Each of the initial positions may correspond to a position of the lens at which one of a plurality of objects has a highest quality. A focus score may be determined at each of the initial positions for the corresponding object having the highest quality. A final position of the lens between two of the initial positions may be calculated based on the focus scores.
