Abstract:
An endoscopic apparatus is disclosed. The endoscopic apparatus includes a light source which has a plurality of light source components which output light beams which cross one another; an estimator which estimates a geometry of an internal surface of a body; and a controller which controls so that an intensity of a light beam output by any one of the plurality of light source components is variably adjusted based on the estimated geometry of the internal surface of the body.
Abstract:
Disclosed are devices and methods for generating an image. A device according to an aspect of an example embodiment includes: a first camera configured to acquire a first black-and-white image; a second camera configured to acquire a first color image; a first electronic circuit configured to generate a second black-and-white image using the first color image; a second electronic circuit configured to determine information representing positional relationships between pixels in the first black-and-white image and pixels in the second black-and-white image; and a third electronic circuit configured to generate a third black-and-white image based on the first black-and-white image, the second black-and-white image, and the determined information.
Abstract:
An image photographing apparatus and a method for controlling the image photographing apparatus are provided. The method includes outputting light so as to penetrate a projection and fall on an object, receiving first reflective light reflected from an object, obtaining a first image based on information of the first reflective light, controlling the projection using predetermined information to generate a controlled projection, receiving second reflective light using the controlled projection, obtaining a second image based on information of the second reflective light, and generating a depth map using the obtained first image and second image.
Abstract:
A digital photographing apparatus capable of reconfiguring an image signal processor (ISP), a method of controlling the digital photographing apparatus, and a system for controlling the digital photographing apparatus. The method includes: receiving a selection of at least one image signal processing module that is to be installed in the ISP; downloading the selected at least one image signal processing module from an external system; and reconfiguring the ISP by using the downloaded at least one image signal processing module.
Abstract:
Provided are an image zooming method and an image zooming apparatus for optical zooming by using a plurality of lenses with different focal lengths. The image zooming method includes capturing an identical scene via a plurality of lenses; obtaining a first image and a second image of the identical scene that have different resolving powers; determining a first area of the first image and a second area of the second image which corresponds to the first area; and generating a composite image the second area and a remaining area of the first image from which the first area is excluded.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for detecting an object is provided. The method includes recognizing a predetermined object from at least one of an image and a video and determining a position of the recognized object, displaying on the image or the video a location of a predetermined part of the recognized object, rearranging the displayed location of the predetermined part of the recognized object based on an input signal, and renewing the position of the recognized object based on a result of the rearranging of the displayed location of the predetermined part of the recognized object.
Abstract:
An image generating apparatus and method are provided. The image generating apparatus includes: a main lens; a microlens array configured to transmit light that is incident on and received from the main lens; an image sensor configured to sense the light received from the microlens array according to a direction; and a digital iris configured to selectively assign, according to the direction of the light, a weight to a light sensing value of the light that is sensed by the image sensor.
