    Abstract: A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes a backlight configured to emit light; a first polarizing plate, disposed in front of the backlight, configured to polarize light emitted from the backlight in a first direction; and a plurality of display panels sequentially disposed in front of the first polarizing plate, wherein each of the plurality of display panels is configured to include a liquid crystal panel and a color filter disposed in front of the liquid crystal panel, and wherein a display panel disposed at a farthest distance from the first polarizing plate from among the plurality of display panels is configured to include a second polarizing plate that polarizes the light of the first direction in a second direction.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable device and a method for measuring skin hydration using the same. A portable device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a housing; a light emitting unit, located on at least one side of the housing, for irradiating light; a spectroscope for spectroscopically splitting the light into at least one wavelength band; a light receiving unit, located on the at least one side of the housing, for receiving at least a part of the light; and a processor which is electrically connected to at least one of the light emitting unit, the spectroscope, and the light receiving unit, wherein the processor can control the light emitting unit to irradiate light on an object, control the spectroscope to spectroscopically split the light, control the light receiving unit to acquire a spectrum of a first wavelength band on the basis of light which is scattered back from the light irradiated on the object, and determine first hydration of the object on the basis of the acquired spectrum of the first wavelength band.

    Abstract: Provided is an electronic device, a charging device for updating firmware, and a control method therefor. The electronic device includes: a communicator including signal lines configured to transmit signals to and from a charging device; a memory storing instructions; and a processor configured to execute the instructions to: based on detecting a connection between the charging device and the electronic device, obtain version information of a firmware program installed on the charging device via the signal lines, based on the version information being different from reference version information, transmit a notification signal for updating the firmware program to the charging device, wherein the notification signal is configured to cause the charging device to switch a signal transmission/reception mode of the charging device from a power signal transmission/reception mode to a data signal transmission/reception mode, and transmit firmware update data to the charging device via the signal lines.
