Method for controlling a method for the manufacture of a container by stretch-blow-molding of a plastic preform (2) in a machine (1) including a mold (26), the preform (2) having a body (3), a neck (4) opening at one end of the body (3) and a bottom (5) closing the body (3) at another end thereof, the manufacturing method including the operations involving:—heating the preform to a predetermined temperature in a thermal conditioning oven (10);—introducing the preform (2) into the mold (26);—moving a stretching pin (28) so as to stretch the preform (2); this control method involving a step that consists in determining the position of impact (P0r) of the stretch pin (28), namely the position it occupies at the moment at which it reaches the bottom (5) of the preform (2) during its movement.

Disclosed is a mold for the manufacture, from a blank, of a container having a body and a base provided with a peripheral seat. The mold includes: a wall bearing the impression of the body of the container and provided with an opening; a mold base which is movable relative to the wall between an extended position and a retracted position; the mold base having a peripheral surface which corresponds to a join between the seat and the base of the container and terminates in an edge which is raised with respect to the seat surface. In the extended position of the mold base, the edge extends vertically perpendicular to the opening and, in the retracted position of the mold base, the edge extends near the opening.

A method of producing a container (2) from a blank (3) made of plastics material within a mould (4) which is provided with a wall (5) defining a cavity (6) bearing the impression of the container (2), and with a mould base (8) which can move relative to the wall (5) between a retracted position in which it extends in set-back manner relative to the cavity (6) and a deployed position in which it closes the cavity (6). The method includes a boxing stage in which the mould base (8) moves from its retracted position to its deployed position, the travel (C) of the mould base (8) between its retracted position and its deployed position being greater than 20 mm.

A method for producing a container (2) from a blank (3) in a mould (1) provided with a wall (4) and a mould bottom (8) that is movable relative to the wall (4) between a retracted position and a deployed position, the method including: a phase of introducing the blank (3) into the mould; a preblowing phase including the injection, into the blank (3), of a fluid pressurised to a so-called preblowing pressure, a blowing phase following the preblowing phase and including the injection, into the blank (3), of a fluid pressurised to a so-called blowing pressure greater than the preblowing pressure; a boxing phase including the displacement of the mould bottom (8) from the retracted position thereof to the deployed position thereof, initiated after the pressure in the blank (3) has reached the blowing pressure.
