Abstract:
A user device, such as a smart phone or an augmented reality glasses, receives data to be displayed to a first user, and the user device determines whether the first user is engaged in a social interaction with a second user. The user device presents the data for display to the first user when the first user and the second user are not engaged in the social interaction. For example, the user device may determine whether the second user is turned toward the first user for a threshold amount of time. When the first user is engaged in the social interaction with the second user, the user device withholds the data, determines a break in the social interaction, and presents the data to the first user during the break. The user device may modify the displayed data based on the duration of the break.
Abstract:
Obtaining a digital image tagged with corrected image direction information includes capturing and storing a digital image of a scene defined by a field of view of a lifelog camera (10) used to capture the image. A forward-facing direction (28) of a user of the lifelog camera is identified, the forward-facing direction within the field of view of the lifelog camera. A component of the image that contains image data corresponding to a portion of the scene containing the forward-facing direction of the user is also identified. The digital image is then tagged with the identified component.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for generating trajectory data for video data. According to the method, an eye movement of an eye (11) of a viewer (10) viewing moving visual images is captured with a capturing device (14). The trajectory data (32) is automatically determined based on the eye movement with a processing device (15) and the trajectory data (32) is automatically assigned to the video data comprising the moving visual images.
Abstract:
An electronic equipment comprises a sensor circuit operative to measure at least one electrical property of a user at a plurality of frequencies to thereby capture frequency-resolved electrical characteristics of the user. The electronic equipment comprises a processing circuit operative to perform a comparison between the frequency-resolved electrical characteristics of the user and reference characteristics to authenticate the user. The processing circuit is operative to perform an unlocking operation based on a result of the comparison.
Abstract:
A device includes a capacitive sampling unit that measures, at the multiple instances of time during a touch interval, capacitance values of a capacitive touch screen display associated with an area in contact with a finger touching the capacitive touch screen display. The device further includes a touch deformation area unit that determines, at the multiple instances of time, a size of the area upon the capacitive touch screen display in contact with the finger touching the capacitive touch screen display. The device also includes a touch force estimation unit that determines a rate of change in the size of the area in contact with the finger, and estimates a touching force of the finger touching the capacitive touch screen display based on the determined rate of change in the size of the area.

Abstract:
On the basis of a first configuration of one or more imaging sensors, first video data is captured at a first frame rate and a first resolution and second video data is captured at a second frame rate and a second resolution. The second frame rate is higher than the first frame rate and the second resolution is lower than the first resolution. Further, an amount of motion is detected in the captured second video data. On the basis of the detected amount of motion, the at least one imaging sensor is switched to a second configuration. On the basis of the second configuration, third video data is captured at a third frame rate and a third resolution. The third frame rate is higher than the first frame rate and the third resolution is higher than the second resolution.
Abstract:
A method, performed in a Body Area Network (BAN) enabled communication device, for grouping of at least one BAN enabled object. A connection between at least one BAN enabled object and the BAN enabled communication device is created by using BAN and grouping of the at least one BAN enabled object and the BAN enabled communication device is initiated by creating a group of the at least one BAN enabled object.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a drone including performing operations on a processor configured to control location of the drone are described. The operations on the processor include receiving heart rate messages from a remote device carried by a user, where each heart rate message includes heart rate information of the user, and receiving location messages from the remote device carried by the user, where each location message includes location information of the user. The method includes predicting a future location of the user based on the heart rate messages and the location messages, generating a target location to which the drone is to be moved based on the future location of the user, and commanding the drone to move to the target location. Related devices are disclosed.
