    Abstract: A display device includes a first support frame including a first slant surface having a slant angle, a second support frame including a second slant surface symmetrical with and having a same structure as the first slant surface, a display panel on the first and second support frames, and a connection member connecting the first and second support frames to be rotatable around a rotational axis defined by the connection member, wherein the first and second slant surfaces are in areas of upper surfaces of the first and second support frames, respectively, and wherein first areas of the first and second support frames have a larger thickness than second areas of the first and second support frames, respectively, the first areas being adjacent to first sides of the first and second slant surfaces, and the second areas being adjacent to second sides of the first and second slant surfaces.

    Abstract: A display device includes (i) a substrate having a first area, a second area, and a bending area located between the first area and the second area, where the substrate is bent along a bending axis in the bending area, the substrate includes a thin portion at an edge portion of the bending area, and the thin portion extends from the second area to the first area and has a thickness less than a thickness of the substrate at a center of the bending area; and (ii) an inorganic insulating layer over the substrate, where the inorganic insulating layer exposes the thin portion in the bending area.

    Abstract: A stretchable display is disclosed. In one aspect, the stretchable display includes a plurality of pixel substrates arranged in a matrix having row and column directions. Each of the pixel substrates includes an island and a flexible hinge connecting the island to at least one of the adjacent pixel substrates. The island of each of the pixel substrates includes a plurality of first sides and a plurality of second sides. The flexible hinge of each of the pixel substrates includes a plurality of first flexible sub-hinges respectively extending from the first sides in the row direction and a plurality of second flexible sub-hinges respectively extending from the second sides in the column direction.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a light shielding layer including a first opening which transmits a light. The second substrate includes a shutter including a second opening which corresponds to the first opening, and a first flexible electrode part which is connected to one end of the shutter and transmits or blocks the light by moving the shutter. The first flexible electrode part includes a first flexible electrode, a second flexible electrode, and an insulation pattern. The insulation pattern insulates the first flexible electrode and the second flexible electrode from each other, and exposes upper and lower surfaces of the first flexible electrode and the second flexible electrode which are parallel to the second substrate, by covering portions of the first flexible electrode and the second flexible electrode.
