    Abstract: A display device includes a display area and a non-display area, a first alignment layer disposed on a first substrate, a second alignment layer disposed on a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer; and a groove disposed in the non-display area of the second substrate to correspond to at least a portion of an end portion of the second alignment layer. The groove is provided along at least one side of the display area and is configured to be filled by an alignment solution used to from the second alignment layer and prevent the alignment solution from dispersing to other areas of the second substrate.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a display substrate having pixel electrodes and a curvature along a first direction, an opposite substrate coupled to the display substrate and curved together with the display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate.
