An operating method of an image display apparatus includes detecting a screen aspect ratio of an input image; determining rotation control information regarding a tiled display of the image display apparatus, the tiled display including a plurality of individually rotatable display modules, according to the detected screen aspect ratio of the input image; rotating each of the plurality of display modules according to the determined rotation control information; and controlling the plurality of display modules to display the input image according to the determined rotation control information.

Provided are a light-emitting diode (LED) display device and a method of operating the LED display device determining whether a line flicker will occur based on a level of an input image signal, obtaining an LED line scan order corresponding to the level of the input image signal and brightness according to the input image signal based on the determining, and driving at least one LED line based on the LED line scan order. An LED line scan order may be adjusted according to a level of an input/output image signal in an LED display device so as to reduce occurrence of a line flicker phenomenon in all levels of the input/output image signal.

A method of operating a light emitting diode (LED) display device is provided. The method includes determining idle time periods respectively corresponding to LED driving clock signals, based on a number of LED driving clock signals corresponding to one frame, controlling generation of the LED driving clock signals, based on the determined idle time periods, and driving an LED module in a unit of an LED line, based on the generated LED driving clock signals. As the LED display device automatically adjusts idle time periods of the LED driving clock signals, the occurrence of flicker in the LED display device may be reduced.
