The electronic communication device is programmed to electronically receive colorimetric information regarding a vehicle component. The non-transitory computer readable medium electronically stores a non-transitory computer learning model using the colorimetric information acquired by the detector as a first input. The non-transitory computer learning model generates a colorimetric value as an output value related to the colorimetric information. The electronic controller is programmed to compare the output value with a predetermined exemplary value. The electronic controller is programmed to determine when the output value deviates from the predetermined exemplary value.

摘要: A method of adapting a Lab setpoint color value of multicolored printed products, wherein a special color is replaced by process colors using an ICC color profile. A measurement point that is assigned to the replaced special color on the printed product is metrologically acquired using a color measuring system and a Lab actual color value of the measurement point is calculated. The ICC color profile or a standardized ICC color profile is used for computing the color composition of the Lab setpoint color value from the participating process colors. Changes of the layer thicknesses of the participating process colors are ascertained to achieve a predetermined Lab setpoint color value of the measurement point using a digital tool or a digital model. The participating process colors are adapted using the ascertained changes of their layer thicknesses.

摘要: A method for generating a pixel filtering boundary required by the auto white balance (AWB) calibration is proposed. The method includes: taking a specific color temperature reference point as a center and dividing a G/B-G/R color space into six color regions having different color component relationships; based on a saturation calculating approach of a HSV color space, respectively identifying six color boundaries in the six color regions to generate a specific hexagonal filtering boundary, so that each color boundary has a predetermined saturation difference with the specific color temperature reference point; adopting the approach for generating the specific hexagonal filtering boundary to respectively identify multiple hexagonal filtering boundaries corresponding to other color temperature reference points; generating an enveloping boundary as a pixel filtering boundary based on the specific hexagonal filtering boundary and the multiple hexagonal filtering boundaries.

摘要: Color calibration of color image rendering devices, such as large color displays, which operate by either projection or emission of images, utilize internal color measurement instrument or external color measurement modules locatable on a wall or speaker. A dual use camera is provided for a portable or laptop computer, or a cellular phone, handset, personal digital assistant or other handheld device with a digital camera, in which one of the camera or a display is movable with respect to the other to enable the camera in a first mode to capture images of the display for enabling calibration of the display, and in a second mode for capturing image other than of the display. The displays may represent rendering devices for enabling virtual proofing in a network, or may be part of stand-alone systems and apparatuses for color calibration. Improved calibration is also provided for sensing and correcting for non-uniformities of rendering devices, such as color displays, printer, presses, or other color image rendering device.

摘要: An object is to ensure clear and easy quantification of the textures such as metallic texture and shiny texture of pearl pigment and to rationalize comparison inspection between an inspection object and a reference object. A coloring inspection apparatus 1 includes a camera 2 that is configured to have three spectral sensitivities (S1(λ), S2(λ), S3(λ)) linearly and equivalently converted to a CIE XYZ color matching function, an arithmetic processing unit 3 that is configured to obtain and compute coloring data by conversion of an image which has three spectral sensitivities and is obtained by the camera 2 into tristimulus values X, Y and Z in a CIE XYZ color system, and lighting units 6 that are configured to illuminate an automobile 5 as an example of measuring object. The coloring inspection apparatus 1 computes a color distribution consistency index that represents a ratio of overlap of two xyz chromaticity histogram distributions of an inspection object Q and a reference object R, so as to inspect color.
