Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for web-based real-time communication by a user equipment (UE), including transmitting, to a web server, a message requesting information about an Internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) network to which the UE is to access, receiving, from the web server, address information of the IMS network to which the UE is to access, in response to the transmitted message, when receiving, from the web server, an instruction to hold establishment of a bearer for a web-based real-time data service, restricting transmission of a signaling message for the web-based real-time data service until the bearer is established, and when sensing establishment of the bearer, transmitting, to an access point of the IMS network, at least one subsequent signaling message for the web-based real-time data service through the bearer.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method whereby a mobility management entity (MME) in a cellular communication system transmits uplink data, the method comprising: receiving uplink data from a terminal; determining if the received uplink data is an Internet Protocol (IP) packet by examining the uplink data; transmitting the uplink data to a destination node via a packet data network (PDN) if the uplink data is an IP packet; and transmitting the uplink data to the destination node via a service capability exposure function (SCEF) if the uplink data is not an IP packet, wherein the uplink data comprises an indicator for indicating whether the uplink data is an IP packet.
Abstract:
A communication method in a wireless communication system supporting device-to-device (D2D) communication is provided. The communication method includes transmitting a first message including information for identifying a relay to discover a relay user equipment (UE) that performs a relay function in the D2D communication, and receiving a second message including information about the relay UE that performs the relay function, from the relay UE that has received the first message, the second message being transmitted in response to the first message.
Abstract:
A discovery method for Device-to-Device (D2D) communication is provided. A terminal transmits a discovery service request message for D2D communication including one of application information and group information for a Proximity based Service (ProSe) to a server. The terminal receives, from the server, a discovery service key delivery message including a discovery service key corresponding to the one of the application information and the group information for a ProSe. The terminal acquires the discovery service key by decrypting the discovery service key delivery message, and performs discovery by encrypting a discovery code with the acquired discovery service key.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for routing a message for a Proximity-based Service (ProSe) by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes sending, to a server, an authorization request message requesting authorization for ProSe usage by an application installed in the UE, the authorization request message including an application ID (ID) for identifying the application and a UE ID for identifying the UE; and receiving an authorization response message including a validity time for a ProSe of the application from the server in response to the authorization request message.
