摘要: There is provided a navigation system using a wireless communication system and a route guidance method thereof. In the navigation system, an information center searches out an optimum route between a present vehicle position and a destination referring to map data in its map database and generates route guidance data. A navigation terminal inside the vehicle calculates the present position of the vehicle, transmits the vehicle's current position information to the information center, receives the route guidance data, and announces a notification message. A wireless communication network connects the information center to the navigation terminal wirelessly.

摘要: A circuit and method to improve power efficiency of AC induction motors is described for adopting an AC PWM chopper method in power input controls. For a period of several seconds after initially supplying power source voltage, the starting voltage is bypassed by a relay switch to prevent malfunctioning of devices.A PWM waveform is provided by a microcomputer and it is combined with a zero crossing signal of the power source voltage. The combined signal is controlled and buffered by photo couplers, by which power source voltage is controlled with transistors of a power controller unit.A current flow through the motor is detected and store into memory of the microcomputer. In a next sequence, another PWM waveform is provided to again detect other current flow through the motor and its detected value is compared with the previous value store in the memory. These sequences are repeated to search for a minimum current value according to variation of loading on the motor.

摘要: Disclosed is a process of preparing sustained release microspheres, containing a biodegradable polymer as a carrier and a drug, using spray drying. The process comprises preparing a solution, suspension or emulsion containing a biodegradable polymer, a drug and a solvent; spray drying the solution, suspension or emulsion; and suspending spray-dried microspheres in an aqueous solution containing polyvinyl alcohol to remove the residual solvent and increase the hydrophilicity of the microsphere surface. The process enables the preparation of microspheres having high drug encapsulation efficiency, almost not having a toxicity problem due to the residual solvent, and having good syringeability. The microspheres prepared according to the present invention release an effective concentration of a drug in a sustained manner for a predetermined period when administered to the body, and are thus useful in the treatment of diseases.

摘要: A dispenser for transferring a liquid from a container includes a dispenser body having a first end, a second end and an inner surface. The first end has an aperture through which the body is capable of receiving at least a portion of the liquid. A valve stem is slidably disposed within the dispenser body in engagement with the inner surface proximate to the first end for movement between a first position and a second position. The valve stem and the dispenser body are configured to limit the motion of the valve stem between the first and second positions to linear motion. The dispenser may include at least one thread disposed on a generally outwardly facing surface of a dispenser body capable of releasably threadably engaging the nozzle when the nozzle is in the closed position.
