摘要: An array substrate is provided for which an OS inspection can be performed without increasing the area of a signal driving circuit formed on the array substrate, and for which the manufacturing cost can be reduced. The array substrate includes a substrate, scanning lines, signal lines, pixel electrodes connected via switching elements provided at the intersections of the scanning lines and the signal lines, a plurality of input/output terminals provided at an edge portion of the substrate, a scanning line driving circuit, a signal line driving circuit for supplying picture signals sent from the outside to one ends of the signal lines via the input/output terminals, and a wiring line commonly connecting the other ends of the signal lines to at least one of the input/output terminals. A predetermined level of voltage is applied between the input/output terminal to which the wiring line is connected and another input/output terminal which at least supplies picture signals, and a current flowing at that time is measured to detect failures.

摘要: A contour filling apparatus comprising a display frame memory and a draft memory spatially corresponding thereto. A target shape to be displayed is filled inside by a draft filling means according to a suitable draft scan pattern. The filled shape is drawn in the draft memory. Scan coordinates specifying each dot in the draft memory and the display frame memory are generated in accordance with any of a plurality of previously provided scan patterns. If a dot specified by scan coordinates in the draft memory is found to be a dot filled by the draft filling means, that dot is drawn in the display frame memory where specified by the scan coordinates. The target shape is thus filled on a display screen of the apparatus in a desired scan pattern.

摘要: A developing apparatus operable with a toner cartridge having a flexible sack which is filled with a toner. When the toner cartridge is mounted on a developing tank included in the apparatus, the sack having been held under tension by the toner is perforated to form a hole therein. The hole causes the sack to contract rapidly due to its contactability while forcing the toner out of the sack. Then, the toner is dropped or otherwise auotmatically supplied into the developing tank. This allows the toner to be supplied without resorting to any extra manual operation after the toner cartridge has been mounted on the tank.

摘要: A dry process developing apparatus for a copier or like machine is constructed to prevent a toner from scattering inside the machine. The toner is transported to a surface of a photoconductive element via an opening which is formed through part of a casing adapted to store the toner. First and second screening means are detachably mounted on the casing and arranged to cover a front open portion between the surface of the photoconductive element and the casing of the developing apparatus as well as side open portions.

摘要: An electrostatic recording medium having an insulating base, a conductive layer on the base, and a dielectric layer on the conductive layer. The conductive layer is divided into a plurality of segments arranged in a direction in which recording electrodes are aligned with each other, so that when associated electrodes of all the arrays of recording electrodes on one side of the recording medium are selected in common with each other and one of complementary electrodes on the other side of the recording medium is selected, a discharge occurs only in the recording electrode disposed above the selected complementary electrode. Each conductive layer segment is formed with at least one conductive portion extending through the insulating resin base and capable of coming into contact with one of the complementary electrodes. An intermediate resistance layer may be provided between the conductive layer and the dielectric layer for preventing the formation of a short circuit through the dielectric layer due to the existance of pin-holes or other defects.
