    摘要: In an intermediate transfer medium, a substrate, protective layers having a layered structure of two or more layers, and a receiving layer are layered in this order. One layer in the protective layers having the layered structure contains, as a main component, one material or a mixture of two or more materials selected from the group consisting of polyesters having a high polymerization degree, a number-average molecular weight (Mn) of not less than 12,000 and a Tg of not less than 60° C., polycarbonates and polyester urethanes. Another layer in the protective layers having the layered structure contains one or more materials selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohols, polyvinyl butyrals, polyvinyl acetals and polyvinyl pyrrolidones or includes a cationic resin, and the receiving layer contains a side chain-type aralkyl-modified silicone in an amount of 0.5-5% by weight on a base of the total weight of the receiving layer.

    摘要: An image transfer article can include an image-imparting member and a removable substrate disposed adjacent to the image-imparting member. The image-imparting member can have a softening point temperature less than about 220° C. The image-imparting member can include at least one surface configured to receive and carry indicia to be transferred and at least one portion comprising a pigment providing an opaque background for received indicia. In some examples, the image-imparting member can comprise a first polymer including the indicia and at least a second polymer including the pigment. In some examples, the image-imparting member can comprise a polymer including the indicia and the pigment. The indicia and the opaque background can be arranged to concurrently transfer to a woven- or fabric-based article or paper in contact with the image-imparting member, upon application of iron pressing temperatures.

    摘要: A film transfer sheet including a sheet substrate provided with a layer via a resin layer and a peelable transparent sheet provided with an adhesive layer. The sheet substrate and the peelable transparent sheet are laminated together such that the layer is overlapped on the peelable transparent sheet and peeling is designed to occur between the layer and the peelable transparent sheet so as to transfer the peelable transparent sheet provided with the adhesive layer to a transfer-receiving member. The resin layer includes as an essential component a pressure-sensitive adhesive having a storage elastic modulus of 3.0 ×105 Pa to 1.2 ×106 Pa at a temperature of 130° C. to 150° C. Also provided is an intermediate transfer recording medium including a sheet substrate provided with a layer via resin layer and a peelable transparent sheet provided with a dye receptive layer, in which the sheet substrate and the peelable transparent sheet are laminated together.
