    摘要: The multi-layer piezoelectric element comprises a stack having an active portion constituted from at least one piezoelectric layer and a plurality of internal electrodes consisting of first and second internal electrodes placed one on another, the active portion being subjected to expansion and contraction in response to a voltage applied across the first internal electrode and the second internal electrode, and external electrodes formed on two side faces of the stack with one thereof being connected to the first internal electrode and the other connected to the second internal electrode, wherein each of the external electrodes is constituted from three or more layers including a first layer formed in contact with the side face of the stack and a second layer formed on the first layer, to provide a multi-layer piezoelectric element having high durability.

    摘要: According to the present invention, a rotary electric machine includes a rotor with a rotary shaft, a stator surrounding an outer periphery of the rotor, and a frame supporting the rotor and the stator. Further, the stator has an outer surface at least part of which is exposed to outside of the frame, and a plurality of protrusions and recesses are formed on the exposed part of the outer surface of the stator, so as to enhance dissipation of heat generated by operation of the rotary electric machine. According to a further implementation of the present invention, the rotor includes at least one fan that works to create air flow, and the protrusions and the recesses are so formed that the recesses make up air flow paths, along which the air flow created by the fan passes over the outer surface of the stator, thereby cooling the outer surface.

The common connector and the individual connector have intermediate terminals that contact with each other. Further, the common connector and the individual connector have engaging portion to engage with each other. The common connector can be shared with individual connectors having different shapes.

    摘要: A rotor and a stator are contained in a housing composed of front and rear frames, and a rectifier is mounted on the rear frame and covered with a rear cover having axial and radial openings. A minus heatsink plate having cooling fins extending in the axial direction is disposed to face the radial openings, forming radial air passages, and another air passage is formed between the minus heatsink plate and the rear frame. Cooling air introduced from the radial openings flows through the cooling fins and through the passage between the minus heatsink plate and the rear frame. Thus, efficiency for cooling the rectifier is enhanced.

The rectifier unit includes a cooling fin structure having at least three positive diodes and three negative diodes fixed thereto and a terminal member having a wiring member connecting the positive and negative diodes to form the three-phase full-wave rectifier unit and three first partition members. The wiring member has first connecting portions connected to the positive and negative diodes and second connecting portions connected to three output leads of the stator winding. Each of the first partition members extend toward the insulation cover between one of the first connecting portions and the cooling fin structure.
