    摘要: A coating for an ink jet printhead front face, wherein the coating comprises a oleophobic low adhesion coating. When the oleophobic low adhesion coating is disposed on an ink jet printhead front face surface, jetted drops of ultra-violet gel ink or jetted drops of solid ink exhibit a contact angle greater than 45° and a low sliding angle of less than about 30°. In embodiments, the oleophobic low adhesion coating is thermally stable wherein the surface contact angle and sliding angle show little degradation after the coating is subjected to high temperatures in a range between 180° and 320° or thereabout and high pressures in a range between 100 psi and 400 psi or thereabout during printhead fabrication and manufacturing.

    摘要: There is described a portable electronic device capable of managing screen orientation. The portable electronic device comprises a display, a motion sensor, an image sensor and a processor. The display provides an image at a first orientation. The motion sensor attempts to detect a rotation of the portable electronic device. The image sensor attempts to detect one or more body features. The processor determines a second orientation of the image at the display based on the rotation detected at the motion sensor and/or the body feature or features detected at the image sensor. The portable electronic device may determine an orientation of the image at the display in response to detecting the rotation at the motion sensor and/or the body feature or features at the image sensor.

    摘要: Disclosed are systems biology-based methods for repositioning known pharmaceutical compounds to new indications, through the identification of network-based signatures. In particular, the invention provides new and useful methods for selecting drugs or combinations of drugs (and preferably previously-approved drugs) for use in new therapeutic indications. Also disclosed are methods for identifying anti-breast tumor initiating cell (TIC)-based therapeutics from within populations of target compounds. In illustrative embodiments, the invention provides methods and computer programs for the repositioning of FDA-approved pharmaceutical compounds to new indications using network-based signature analysis coupled with conventional in vitro and in vivo testing of identified drug candidates. The invention also allows identification of drugs or drug combinations for treating unmet medical needs including, for example, “orphan” diseases.
