    摘要: An imaging unit including a pair of objective lens systems and an imaging device that photoelectrically converts optical images into image signals is incorporated in the distal portion of an endoscope. The pair of objective lens systems is arranged to pick up images while viewing an object from different viewing points. Optical images having traveled through the objective lens systems are converged on the imaging device. A camera control unit converts image signals, which result from photoelectric conversion performed by the imaging device, into video signals according to which images are displayed on a monitor. A video capture circuit converts the produced video signals into digital image signals. A host computer performs arithmetic operations using the resultant digital image signals. A desired cutting plane is designated using the reference image displayed on the monitor, whereby section information concerning a viewer's desired section determined with the cutting plane can be acquired.

    摘要: The endoscope apparatus of the present invention comprises an insertion section inserted into a space to be inspected, a light emitting device for emitting excitation light, a fluorescent member for emitting illumination light obtained by mixing the excitation light and fluorescent light excited by the excitation light into the space from the tip end of the insertion section, an optical sensor for detecting return light, a part of the illumination light, a light guide for light detection provided with one end facing the fluorescent member and the other end facing the optical sensor for transmitting the return light emitted from the fluorescent member to the optical sensor, a wavelength limiting member provided between the other end of the light guide and the optical sensor for limiting the wavelength of the return light, and a light detection portion for detecting intensity of the return light detected at the optical sensor.

The imaging unit comprises an imaging device and generates a first image having two fields by imaging a subject by performing interlaced driving for the imaging device. The detection unit detects the amount of shake of the first image. The process unit generates a second image from the first image based on the amount of shake. The measurement unit measures the subject based on the second image.

    摘要: A processing unit includes a positional relationship information extracting unit for extracting first information on a positional relationship of an optical adaptor by performing the image processing of a signal transmitted from an image pick-up unit upon capturing the image of a predetermined subject, a storing device for storing the first information on the positional relationship, a comparing and determining unit for comparing the first information on the positional relationship stored in the storing device with second information on the positional relationship which is extracted again by the extracting unit when replacing the optical adaptor by using the tip of an endoscope insertion portion, and a notifying unit for notifying a determination result based on determination information from the comparing and determining unit. Thus, it is possible to prevent the execution of measuring from deteriorating the precision by the change in positional relationship between an optical system of the optical adaptor and an image pick-up device.
