摘要: A charge transport layer for an imaging member comprising a photogenerating layer, (1) a first charge transport layer comprised of a charge transport component and a resin binder, and thereover and in contact with the first layer (2) a second top charge transport layer comprised of a charge transport component, and a polymer of a styrene containing hindered phenol. The charge transport layer exhibits excellent wear resistance, excellent electrical performance, and outstanding print quality.

摘要: Present embodiments pertain to an improved electrostatographic imaging member having low contact friction surfaces to ease sliding mechanical interaction and suppressing abrasion/wear failure and methods of preparing thereof. The improved imaging member has layers comprising one or two low surface energy polymeric materials that enhance the physical and mechanical functions and reduce the layers surface contact friction of the imaging member to extend service life.

摘要: An imaging member having an adhesive charge transport layer is disclosed herein. The charge transport layer comprises a low surface energy polymer having siloxane segments in its backbone and a charge transport compound; it may further comprise a film-forming polymer. The charge transport layer has low surface energy, reduced coefficient of surface contact friction, and improved surface lubricity.

摘要: An electrophotographic imaging member is disclosed including a support substrate having a two layered electrically conductive ground plane layer comprising a layer comprising zirconium over a layer comprising titanium a hole blocking layer, an adhesive layer comprising a copolyester film forming resin, an intermediate layer over and in contact with the adhesive layer, the intermediate layer comprising a carbazole polymer, a charge generation layer comprising a perylene or a phthalocyanine, and a hole transport layer, said hole transport layer being substantially non-absorbing in the spectral region at which the charge generation layer generates and injects photogenerated holes but being capable of supporting the injection of photogenerated holes from said charge generation layer and transporting said holes through said charge transport layer.
